Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This happened about 3 years ago in my brothers old house. He had moved into a beautiful new 2-story house that had about 5 bedrooms. The house looked bright and new.

Everything was going good until strange things started happening. My brother’s wife would stay home alone with their daughter while my brother went to work. She felt an uneasy feeling like someone was always watching her. She thought it was just her imagination since the house was so big. Although, this happened everyday so she began telling my brother about her uneasy feelings.

My brother said that he felt the same way about the house and that he just didn’t want to say anything to not scare her. My oldest sister and her daughter lived with them in that huge house as well, since there was a lot of rooms and the economy financially was hard. My sister felt the same feeling as they did. When she would stay alone on that house with her baby girl she didn’t even want to go downstairs she would just stay in the room until everyone came home.

One day my brother lit up some candles the one’s that have the pictures of Jesus and Virgin Mary on them. Whenever he would lit them they would always go out. He decided to lit them again and then ha came back to check it out and they were out again. He didn’t understand what was going on. Me, myself though didn’t feel anything when I would go visit them. I actually liked the house since it was so big. I would go exploring it and I never once got scared.

Another day when everyone was in their room minding their own business, there was a loud thud downstairs in the living room. Everyone came down to see what had happened. When they looked at what was on the floor everyone was in pure shock. The portrait of the Virgin Mary that was once hanging on the wall, was now on the floor broken.

Everyone felt uneasy at that moment. They decided to move and since then they haven’t once gone back to that house. What could have caused this to happen? A ghost or something else?
