Do ghosts really not like dogs? I think that’s true. Me and my mom were talking about this last night and I think I know why this ghost thing is showing up now after we have been living in this house for ten years.
See, my mom and dad are getting a divorce and me and my mom have the house for now but my dad has our dog. One night my moms friend and my mom were talking in her bedroom when my moms friend saw something in the door way just walking by. When she got better focus on it, it was gone.
She said it was black and wearing one of those French hats. Then a few nights later, I saw it.
I was in my room playing on my laptop when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw it standing in my door way. It wasn’t in my room but just outside of my room. When I looked over at it though, it was gone.
Last night when I told my mom about it, she freaked out. I didn’t know her friend saw it. She was saying the thing was dark and really not good. She thinks mine and her rooms are safe though because the thing did not come in either of our rooms. I believe her.
I cant wait until we move because I really want to be a ghost hunter but I am not having anything to do with demons. I’m not going to be the one to get possessed. I have seen way to many movies about this stuff though and know I should just move out and not talk to it or any thing like that. I’m not using a Ouija board either.

I belive that dogs help get rid of anything evil that is in the house or atleast when they are barking they help you to know or see that something is in your house. There are many stories where dogs bark at something or howl when they see things that you can’t and I think they help and warn you. You did good in not trying to cantact whatever was theree because in most cases everything just gets worst. Good luck and God bless.
I have to agree, dogs and cats, are very sensitive to the otherworldly. I kinda see my dog as a ghost alarm, if you will. When ever he starts barking and acting sketchy, I know some activity is about to happen.
I agree, you shouldn’t try to contact it, be it a demon or a negative spirit, it’ll just give it more energy to interact with you, and since, it seems as though you get a bad feeling from it, it probably not a good idea to allow it more access to you.
I too wonder why it can’t go in your rooms either? How comforting may this be? I bet a lot. Are you and ypur family religious? Have toy been babtised? I have yet to see a ghost, but have only once remember having a paranormal incident happen to me that I feel was more of a Guardian Angel. I wonder why bow its appearing. Maybe now that there is a saddness and no dog it feels safe to come out. Keep us posted on what happens please. Thanks for sharing.
