Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Hello everyone. I have submitted more stories then I should. I have  had 3 haunting summers in Maine. The others are posted on here as well.

But this is my newest story. My current summer. This time, a ghost cause harm to a 2 and a half year old boy.

This summer in Maine, I was babysitting a 2 and a half year old. He would sleep in the back rooms and there was a ghost back there. I knew it, my brothers knew it, my brothers girlfriend saw him. He was from the 1800′s, 9 years old. My brothers girlfriend had a feeling his name was Todd, but we were not sure.

We didn’t know how old he was until one night, I heard Miguel, the 2 year old, talking at 9 pm. He was put in bed at 8. I went in there and asked him who he was talking to, not expecting an answer, be he clearly said “Todd”. I was freaked out but I tried to see if he said something else. I asked him if he was cold, if he wanted the window open, if he said anything other then Todd, but when I asked “Todd?” He got excited and said “Yeah! Todd!” I got my little brother and we talked to him. We asked him where he was, he pointed to the window. Asked him what they were doing, he said playing with toys, he then described a toy truck that he’s never seen in that house that was in the bottom of a box.

We kind of got a little freaked out, but continued asking him questions. We asked how old he was. This boy didn’t know any numbers but 1 – 5 and he could barely even say those. He told us 9. Which fit the description of his height my brothers girlfriend said.

Finally we told him. “It’s time to go night night. Tell Todd to go night night on Nicks bed.”

He screamed “Todd go night night!” Then a few seconds later he screamed “Ow! He bit me.” At that point we looked around his body and found a bit mark the shape of small teeth. We moved him into the living room and he went to sleep instantly.

Other nap times that we have put Miguel down for, he was always trying to get to the boy’s closet to open it. When we asked him why, he simply said… “Todd wants to go in there!” And then as clear as day, said something that made my brother and I almost cry. He said “Todd died.” then “He’s dead.”  After the first time with Todd, we had caught him drawing pictures of a boy covered in blood.

My brothers girlfriend saw him twice, and only when she was alone. He moved things, but never left the two back rooms, my little brothers room and my older brothers room. He never hurt anyone until that night.
I saw a flash of him once, he peaked into my sisters room as I was helping her clean. I thought it was my 14 year old brother, it wasn’t him. Nor my 11 or 20 year old brothers.

Sorry this story is a bit more confusing then my others, but I have never met a ghost that has hurt a baby like that. It scared me and I have not been scared of a ghost for a while. They have moved out of this house, it seems to always be the case. Though my mother doesn’t believe any of the houses she has lived in were haunted. But we know the truth. I hope Todd finds his way to a better place. He always left us with lonely sad feelings.
