Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

We just moved into this beautiful home and it’s really big. After we got all settled in it was quite easy to get used to everything. Then one time I felt chills go down my back and it felt like there was this some sort of energy in the kitchen but I thought, it’s just the vent.

But then things started acting weird. Our cupboards have locks on them and we always lock them (because my brother always breaks in and eats the candy) and we hide the key. Well, one night we went out to a fancy restaurant, and when we came home, the key was on the counter, and the cupboards were wide open. We looked inside them and all the candy was gone and our jars were gone.

And then one night I was cleaning dishes (that’s my chore by the way) I put the knives in the sink, and then I felt really warm air behind me and I turned around and I saw nothing so I went back to cleaning. Then suddenly, I heard a loud startling SMASH! Behind me I turned around and all the knives were on the ground. I was starting to get freaked out by this so one night while everyone was sleeping, I went into the kitchen, and I saw this figure. It looked like a girl my age. She was all red and she had fire around her. Her eyes had a mean glare and she was staring at me.

I froze for a second, because I couldn’t move. Then the fire girl makes a weird shriek and comes at me and disappears. Then I had mobility so I ran upstairs and locked myself in my room for the night.

Then I went to the library and did some research on our house. I was shocked when I read this. It had an article about a 17 year old girl (My age) who was always angry. Then one night she was in the kitchen and the stove caught on fire and the fire killed her.

She was my age, so that’s why she haunts me. I went into the kitchen again and told her that everything would be fine, and then suddenly the air got easier to breathe in.

The ghost left.
