I live in a house where two men from separate families both named Walter died in.
At night in our bathroom I hear a distant radio or television. It’s not music I hear but a ball game, commentators or something like that.
One day while taking a shower I heard the side door that opens up to the garage open and then I heard footsteps, I thought it was my husband. I even called out his name. No one was there. Another night as we were lying in bed to go to sleep I felt someone grab my foot, a few nights later I heard a child’s voice saying “dad” as if him or her were looking for their dad. Last night I heard multiple voices. I couldn’t make out what they were saying but I could distinguish that there was a man’s voice present that stood out from the rest and I could feel a very strong presence in the room.
Once I made my husband get up and turn on the light to look around the room and of course nothing was there. Even as I am typing this I heard someone in the kitchen, I am home alone. The sound I heard is the same door that I mentioned. The door didn’t open it just sounded like someone messing with the door handle. I got up and opened the door and of course nothing.
I think I have a spirit that follows me because I have had experiences at every house that I have lived in. I am twenty four now and I have had experiences ever since I was about seven or eight. I remember playing a Ouija board with my sister when I was a kid, maybe something crossed over and has been hanging on to me to keep it’s self in our world. I don’t know but whatever it is it sure does freak me out!
I have plenty other stories to tell, this one is just what is happening now. I have tried to get in touch with paranormal state and they called me while I was at work and I asked them to call me the following day and they blew me off so I’m just dealing with the ghost.

Hi Amy,
There are tons of stories on the net about kids seeing things far more clearly than some adults. The reason for this is because, before the age of seven, a child is still more connected to the spiritual planes than the physical ones we all live on .. and so their senses are heightened all the time.

Great question! I look forward to all the answers about this one!
I believe so, yes. They haven’t had as much time as we have to forget the things we started out knowing(if that makes any sense). They also haven’t had the time to develop cynicism that adults tend to develop when things that we don’t understand happen. As adults we use what we believe to be logic to explain things away. Children don’t do that, they accept what is right in front of them because they haven’t had time to become jaded.
Diana,
You are so right. The older we get, and the more ‘set in our ways’ we become (and that is just having ‘become stubborn’) the less we are open to anything new. Be it knowledge of modern things, or worse yet…acceptance of old things dismissed as folly; even when they see it themselves.
Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt; it is a curse!
Right Diana. Great answer.
