This is my third story on this site, unfortunately I have no specific dates for the events which follow.
When I was younger I was always afraid to go in my mothers room, during the day it wasn’t so bad but I felt uncomfortable as though I was being watched.
One night (I think round Halloween) my sister told me a story about a woman who had given to her a wicker spoon as a gift which she hung on the wall in her kitchen.
That very night she woke up to the sound of children laughing, the noise was coming from the kitchen. She got up to see who was in her house, when she entered the kitchen she saw several small children all of them faceless. She fainted at the sight of them and when she finally came to it was morning and the children were gone. After that she got rid of the wicker spoon.
Now this story seemed relevant because my mother had a wicker spoon hung up on the wall in her room. When I was older and I was left in the house on my own at night I would stay in my room with our cats asleep on my bed for comfort and listen to things being knocked over in my mothers room next door.
Some years later (I’m grown up and left home now) I noticed that she no longer has the wicker spoon hanging up on her wall and when I questioned her about it she told me she’d given it away to a charity shop.
So that’s my story, maybe if you come across a wicker spoon in some charity shop you’ll find out for yourself the mystery of it.

Sorry, but what’s a wicker spoon? what is it for besides for a decoration. I tried to google it but i found nothing.
That wicker spoon is possessed…. Not only by one, but many spirits.
@Melissa: Well, your question is simple, but tough…. That;s the same as when you ask “What’s a Painting? What is it for besides for a decoration?” Wicker Spoon is a decoration with the shape of a spoon, usually humans hang it in the wall. They are created from cane, wood and many other materials.
