Hello again. This event happened not long after we moved in, in 05. I had seen this once before in the day time from a distance at another place. This house had been for sale for quite awhile and had tried to be auctioned off too. Nobody wanted it because of the basement. I think we will be the last people to live here because of the foundation. If we get rich quick, we will save it I assure you. Now onto the event.
This house has been added on a few times. The living room has two bedrooms off it and a small bathroom too. Then goes into another room after the pillars. Then there is a room where we keep the pool table with a big room and a bathroom off of that and the last room is the kitchen and laundry which leads to the basement. This house has four doors.
Donnie was sitting in the living room and I was in the bathroom off the pool table room. The door way between Donnie and the pool table room is a French one and quite wide. From my position I can see out the door right on to the pool table. I look up and there not 15 feet from me is a completely white Victorian dressed woman heading for the wall to the kitchen. She glided, not walked. She looked ahead and not at me. I saw her profile and her high lace collar and her hair in a bun and her dress. I couldn’t see her feet because of the pool table. It took maybe four seconds and she was gone just before she got to the end of the room.
I scurried to my old man and told him. Of course I didn’t see what I said I saw. Then the same week, same time of day, I look up to see his face and his eyes are buggin out and his jaw is on the floor! He saw her too! I have seen her before or someone quite similar walking down a sidewalk in the middle of the day! I can tell you quite clearly I saw the bottom of her dress and there were No Feet!
It’s been almost five years since I’ve seen her and I would jump at the chance to see her again! Oh there are others here, the lady was residual. She was a memory. There was no house in her day where she was walking. so that is how it began. Pretty cool huh!
Just a note. This town was founded by the railroad. This house was a working farm just south of the tracks and built about 10 years after. Some of the houses in town near the depot are so close together you can hardly walk between. This town is not unlike others and it does have it’s haunted tales too. Thanks for your time!

Nice Story! That must be something to not be Frightened by what you saw. You said you seen her on the sidewalk. Do you mean in front of your Home? Or in Town? As you mentioned the Town itself has History of Ghost also. Thanks for Sharing and Bless you!
what is this town called? and where dis town located??
joey kid, it’s a town called creston in iowa. they way the town was founded, was in the 1870′s the railroad was making tracks toward a hill and decided to stop and build a depot and they called it creston, the crest of a hill. a little corny i admit and this town sees alot of coal and grain cars. more than 50 a day. from wyoming to the east coast.
my friend has had the same experience but she sees it all the time now she just takes it as she comes it is a medievil peasant x

thanks stephie, yes i saw another victorian woman walking down a sidewalk in the middle of the day. she looked eerily similar to the one i saw in the house. here lately i’ve heard knocking too. there is alot of wood in this house such as the pillars and there ledges. on the couch side is a bench with 3 windows. all wood. i get up and check for cats, but don’t think a cat could knock on wood lol. sometimes it’s quiet for some time. then it starts up again. who knows why.

the end was just a description of the main purpose of this town.. she had no feet, that is her dress was about a foot off the ground and she had no feet!
i woke up one night my sister was like i heard a scraping so i shined my light at my dresser and my helmet was moving off my dresser fell and snapped in half in the morning it was back on my dresser not snapped in half p.s please tell me exxsplanations for this thank u for the people who wouls give me exxsplanatins for why this happend thank u again
I have a “ghost” that passes by my windows on the driveway side of my house. It seems to be a man wearing a baseball cap. It is always on the same side of the house and going the same direction.Even company has caught a glimpse of it. It doesn’t scare me. I think it is a spirit of someone passed watching over us.
awhile ago, i was washing some dishes when i looked into through the doorway to the next room and saw a beam of light shaped like a person. it turned to look at me, then disappeared. also, we took a picture near where i saw the light, and in the picture we saw what looked like a clown. i don’t care if you don’t believe me. most people don’t.
i meant 2 say “looked through”, not “into through”. lol
