The Home Wrecker Indian Ouija

Posted on October 3, 2010

This is another Ouija board story but really fascinating.

I belong to an Indian family. Once attending my paternal uncle’s wedding at the country (village) side. I experienced this strange encounter with spirits. Indian villages are prone to have paranormal encounters more than the cities. But me and my cousins didn’t believe in such stuff about outer world.

So, once we were hanging out in one of the rooms of our ancestral house the day before the wedding, we were all making fun, enjoying ourselves, listening songs, missing all those gadgets (since Indian villages are very rural). We started searching for some stuff to entertain this restless younger generation who cannot think about surviving without all those modern facilities, so we took this event as a camp out in the villages.

Then we found this strange, old, Ouija board sort of thing (not exactly Ouija board, as it was in Hindi, but had the same mechanism as an Ouija board would have). So we were warned not to play with it, but you know about teenagers, they would do the thing they are strictly prohibited to. So me and my four other cousins sat around the board, lit a candle, held out hands, and started playing with it. We started calling on names we didn’t knew about, famous personalities, already dead. Then after some time we got bored of it as nothing (as we expected) was happening.

But at the same night, at about 2am we were woken of some kind of banging sound. We thought it was coming from the outside of the wall of our room, but after some more banging, our parents came in complaining us that we were the one producing those sounds.

Later after some minutes, we again fell asleep. Then again, something woke us up, it was a very foul smell (like rotten meat). We tried to find the source but out try was in vain. After some time, that foul smell turned into a fresh and sweet smell of flowers. It was very pleasing. Then we started making links about from where the smell could come. We mentioned about gardens, fields and suddenly someone popped on the name of graveyard. We felt a sudden chill and that was the moment when we all realized that we had brought a spirit from the other world to our world. That was the time we realized what we had done, the mistake, the penalty, the wrong done.

It was too scary at those moments and it was a difficult time sending those spirits back to their world. And it was done by us, me and my four cousins who were truly affected by the sight of that house. It became the house of horror, with all those spirits and ghosts haunting all over it. And it had to be done before the wedding started, because then it would create more trouble as a wedding is considered a holy ceremony in Hindu culture. But we were successful in sending those spirits back and wedding was held as grand as ever without any paranormal stuff.

After the ceremony, we all tired, laid down on our beds. while laying down, on the side table lying in front of the beds was the very same candle, which we used to call the spirits, suddenly, out of nowhere, lit up on its own!

yes indeed, you very probably brought something into your world. not taking using a board can do some bad things. i don’t think they work that often and not always bad things happen. your elders were only trying to keep you safe!
