I have written many stories on the haunted house on Cochran Road. Living in the house for over 20 years there was almost daily paranormal activities, so many different things. We knew we had several ghosts.
One day my five year old son was telling me. ‘momma, I saw a man standing in the doorway of my room. As you normally would, I began to question him to see what he had seen.
I noticed that he wasn’t scared. He stated that he was a tall man with a big smile. He was leaning on the door facing and just smiling at him. He said that he was wearing jeans, a white t-shirt and a green army jacket.
We knew who he had seen, my first husband. The father of three of my children was killed in a car wreck at 28 years old. My five year old son had described him in detail even though he wasn’t even born when he died. He had no way of knowing.
My son still sees things today. He has had three kids of his own and lives in a house on the same street. He sees a little girl walking down the hall where he lives.
I think my son has the gift to see things. I guess it was passed down through the generations. I am able to see things and so was my grandmothers before me. My great-grandmother was a full Native American Indian. My grandfather met her while visiting the reservation. We have always heard that she was connected to the spirit world.
