Hi all and thanks for reading this. Its not really a story just details of some of the experiences I have had.
My girlfriends brother died from a brain tumor over 10 years ago now and ever since he has made his presence known to her. He follows her wherever she goes and lives.
Although I have only been with my girlfriend for 5 or so years, I have had several first hand experiences of her brother.
1) Whilst watching TV with my girlfriend in her flat I noticed a black cloud the size of a football float along the floor in front of the fire. Once it got to the TV it disappeared – above the TV hung a picture of my girlfriends brother!
2) At Christmas and around the times of our daughters’ birthdays, he gets more active and things start happening. Normally is the lights flickering but he will also show himself, but not to the girls only my girlfriend and myself!
3) Last night while watching TV, we heard a robotic voice but we could not understand it as it as muffled. My eldest daughter said “it sounded like the sat nav going off.” Our reply was it cant be as its switched off. At that exact moment we heard the sat nav giving directions as somehow it had turned on. all four of us in the house were on the sofas and not anywhere the sat nav!
4) Last Christmas while on the sofa we witnessed a gift bag straighten itself up. Usually a bag will crumple up on itself and fall downwards due to gravity but this bag did the opposite as if someone was making the bag look tidy.
5) At one time my girlfriend was in the kitchen washing up and the strap on her vest top had slid down off her shoulder. Before she had a chance to adjust the strap it was back in place. My girlfriend automatically thought it was me but I was in the bathroom at the time.
6) I have seen various “shadow people” but I just assume that its my girlfriends brother coming home.
As it is our daughters birthdays coming up in the next few weeks there will no doubt be more incidents.

at least her brother isn’t suffering anymore and enjoying the freedom. he’s quite helpful if you ask me. great post!
Whoever it is , I feel it is harmless. If I were you, I would help it to see the light by talking to him in a very nice way since I believe the spirit needs to go to the place where it belongs.
Rosie, its the ghost of my girlfriends brother and we love having him around so there is no way we’ll try and get rid of him.
while you may love having him around dando, i think he may not want to be there. try talking to him to find out what he wants. if he wants to go to “heaven” you should try a spell to put him there
I think its cool how your girlfriend’s brother help around. As long as he’s harmless, and doesn’t bring any unfriendly guest.
