I know most people are skeptics and I used to be one as well. There were quite a few times where I believed that there was someone or something else, other than my parents and I living at our house.
It had been happening off and on for the past 5 years. I was starting to get into the paranormal just by watching the TV shows and what not. I started learning how to identify things that were out of the ordinary, i.e. paranormal.
One particular instance that got me to believe there was an entity in our home was one late afternoon when I was watching TV with my dog. My dog had been laying in my lap when all of a sudden she sat up very quickly as if she had heard something that startled her. Then, as soon as she sat up, she started looking around and seemed to be following something with her eyes. It looked like she was watching someone walk back and forth in the room we were in. This really freaked me out and I was getting nervous. After watching my dog do this for about 2 minutes I told her to lay down and to stop looking around like that.
Another time was when my fiancé and I were in my parents living room, taking a nap on separate couches. All of a sudden I heard, “Rebecca, Rebecca!” I sat straight up and asked my fiancé, “What?” Thinking he was saying my name. Well, he was sound asleep and I had woke him up when I had asked him “what?”. I asked him, “Did you just say my name? And why did you make yourself sound so feminine?” I said kind of laughing. He replied that I should leave him alone to sleep and not ask silly questions, making it clear to me that he never said my name. I got frustrated and said, “Don’t mess with me Jason, I know you said my name. I just heard you as clear as day!” He began to get annoyed and said, “I never said your name, now go back to sleep.”
So, figuring he was just playing with me, I went back to sleep. What seemed like 15 minutes later I heard my name once again, except this time it sounded like it was right in my ear. I jumped up and ran over to Jason. I shook him awake and said someone just said my name in my ear. He realized how scared I was and said we should just move downstairs to the family room.
Now that he and I are married and I’m moved out of my parents house I don’t have any experiences like this. There are other things that had happened to me at my parents house that I just don’t have the time to write. Anyway, I don’t believe whoever or whatever in that house is benevolent, however, it really wanted to get my attention.

i would like to hear more.
very interesting, Ioften hear a woman call my name even though I am
home alone. interesting but not scary, would love to see who it is.
This is the story of my life. I’m only 16, but in my 16 years I have had so many encounters like this it’s not even funny. My parents never believed me until two of my friends slept over and my lights were continuously turned on and off and all the pictures from that night of me had a minimum of five orbs in them. I’ve lived in my house for 11 years and have seen, heard, and had “imaginary friends” that were really parnormal. I see and feel them everyday, but eventually they get bored and will stop their harassment once you stop satisfying them with your fear. They can feel it and that’s what keeps them going.
