Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This is about my father who had died when I was about a year old. I don’t remember a thing about him. My mom said he was strict, no makeup allowed. My older sisters remember more than me but they wont say anything about him. My father died suddenly when he was working on his car; a big car person. Then from what I was told he had the garage door shut and he was alone. The car’s engine was started and some kind of gas came from it killed him. It was a very hard time on my family. Now I’m older and no one ever talks about him.

Then it started one day when I was about eight or so. It was me and one of my sisters on a usual summer night. I went to the bathroom and when I was opening the door my sister had said ”were you trying to scare me?” I didn’t know what she was talking about then she said she saw a figure of a little girl about my height but she was a black figured girl. Then things settled down and as I became nine, it started again. Now I was into the ghost things; always watched Paranormal State, Ghost Stories, and Haunted. As I thought my father would always protect me no matter what happened at nights I would always have to shut the door all the way.

I was sleeping in my room alone and I woke up about maybe at 3 am and I was so tired and I had to get up at 7 for school. I went back to sleep and then I couldn’t. I felt like I was trapped in my dreams but I opened my eyes to feel like someone was sitting on my bed. I thought that it was just a dream because I had just watched Paranormal State that evening.

Maybe about a week later I was sitting on top of the couch and my sister was on the computer then the ceiling fan went to medium (it was on low) I could always tell what it was on. No more than five minutes later the kitchen light was flickering, it was a new bulb so I didn’t know how it was doing that. I was always nervous to see my dad as a ghost. It freaked me out!

I was taking a nap in my moms bed and I slept on his side of the bed and then I looked over in the closet; the closet door stays open because of the bed, and I could of sworn to see my dad. Being out in the garage alone scares me a lot because of my dad. From watching those ghost shows I know what can happen if you do one little thing wrong. I went out there one day and  the radio was off and then I went to look in the tool bin and the radio came on and I was like… How? I’ve never told anyone.

Being at my oldest sisters ex-boyfriend’s house his mom was talking about ghosts and what not. She said one night her brother died and she said she was ready to speak to him again and that night he appeared and she talked to him and so if she was telling the truth I believed her.

In 2007 My grandfather had died from cancer on the night I was staying at my cousins; It was like a two house kind of place. And then at about 5 in the morning my sister woke me up to say get up grandpa died. Being selfish I went back to sleep for about five minutes and she said get up grandpa died! and I was like stop playing around so then I got up to run into the house and what do you know the smell of a decaying body. My grandfather had passed away on the day that no one ever expected. He was the last thing I had ever had to a father.

Cleaning out the house a few days later my mom had wound up a snow globe and later that day I had come straight there from the school bus and my sister said mom ”that snow-globe came on and played” it was very odd because they usually only play for how ever long you wind them up for.

At the funeral I prayed for Jesus to take him in with open arms. His ghost still lingers in the house I was too young to buy. I will never forget the memories of my grandfather and the ghost that still loves everyone in his house that will never be disturbed. Has this ever happened to anyone before?

It’s nothing too bad, nothing so scary but it still does haunt me and I cant ever let it go.
