Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I was only 12 years old when this incident happened. Me and my family were on vacation and we were staying in our relatives house the house was small for the five of us and we all had to adjust ourselves it was difficult.

Dehradun, a city in India, was famous for its natural beauty.

It was late night and as usual there wasn’t any electricity supply at night it was hot and suffocating. I was sleeping with my mother in one single bed and she held me tight to make sure I won’t fall off the bed. My Dad was sleeping with my uncle in the other room. I couldn’t get sleep because of the heat.

I then closed my eyes for sometime and when I opened them I saw a White object in front of me. I closed my eyes again and opened to make sure i wasn’t dreaming and I wasn’t! I then looked up and saw it was a lady. She was white with big eyes staring right at me and she wouldn’t even blink. She was on air i couldn’t see her feet. My heart started to beat loudly and I was sweating, it was difficult to breathe.

I then shook my mother and she woke up she told me that it was all a dream and she covered my eyes with her hands. I still couldn’t sleep I kept peeping and there she was still looking at me. I again woke my mother up and this time i told her to call my dad, she did so my dad came with a torch and placed the torch where i told him to. He couldn’t see anything everyone else came and there was nothing. The lady disappeared!

The next day we packed up our stuff and left the place early in the morning at 4.

I don’t have any idea who that lady was but her face was frightening. My father then came to know that the house we were staying was built over an old grave yard. We never went there again.
