Hearing Strange Voices?

So here in the past few weeks I’ve been hearing strange things such as random yells in the middle of the night, no one hears them except for me. I was in my room getting ready to go to sleep and all of a sudden I hear someone drop something and a loud boom, I also heard my name, my full name, “Alisha”, being screamed loud enough it felt like it was in my ear, but I knew it wasn’t.

A few weeks ago I was in the shower, and I heard the same thing, a loud bang and my name, but this time it was my nick name. “Ali”. Then I heard a more human voice calling my name, and it sounded like my mother, so I answered with a “yeah?” and we had a full blown conversation. Though keep in mind this was 3 o-clock in the morning. I got out of the shower after the conversation was …

Voices in the Head

A few paranormal occurrences happened and attracted my curiosity after I had turned 27. During that time I was still fresh from college and had a few work experiences but was unemployed. I was living with my parents and my brothers and sisters; quite a wholesome family and healthful environment. There were no deaths or anything material or historical in the house or on the piece of land which would induce, invite or invoke spiritual activities, as the popular and wide belief.

The occurrences were mostly bewildering or better yet, wonderful, except a few that were somewhat hair-raising but not really frightening or spectacularly scary. The most dreadful and annoying was the male and female voice(s) inside my head. What is perplexing in this paranormal mystery (ordeal) is the voice(s) is not heard through the ears but inside your head. It is not and is entirely different from your thought. Your mind functions normally but the voice(s) just keeps on …

Singing and Whispering Spirits and a Black Shadow Figure

My story starts when my oldest daughter (now20) was around 2 years old. We just had a baby and moved into an apartment.

She would tell me there was something playing with her toys in the closet or there would be someone talking to her. I thought it was just her being a kid. Long story short, we have moved several times, along with 2 spirits. One of them she has named Sarah. She is no problem. We all hear her singing, whispering, and sometimes when only one person is in the house, moving something around in another room. She sometimes moves little things into different places all over the house that we can find easily.

I think she is with us to protect my 2 daughters, especially my oldest. About 30 times I have even felt her at my work. I know it is her because I can see her out of the corner of my eye or hear …

Demonic Voices in the Basement

Hello, my name is Amber. I am 24 years old and up until last year, I was very skeptical about ghosts and paranormal entities. But now, my whole view has changed… This is my 100% true ghost story.

I live in North Carolina, but in the hot summer of 2010, I went to visit my cousin in Maryland. It was chillier there, but pretty bearable. My cousin’s name was Lillian, but everyone always called her her Lilly. She was 23, and lived in a beautiful stone Victorian home. It was very spacious and comfortable, and had a nice wood-burning fireplace.

My first night there, Lilly told me that I could pick any room to sleep in, but told me not to sleep in the basement bedroom. I asked her why I couldn’t. She showed me all around the house, and the basement was very nice. It had soft carpeting, a big flat screen TV, and was very cozy. Why wouldn’t …

My Name Called in the Night

This story happened a while back, so I thought I could share it with you now.

I was around 15 years old at that time and my parents had just left for a trip in Italy around September. School had just restarted and I started to be interested in ghost not so long before.

I woke up that night by a voice that was calling me. It wasn’t a clear voice. It sounded a little bit like the one you hear on radio when you’re not picking the channel correctly. The voice was saying my nickname, “Dave”, and every time it was saying, it was becoming more and more insistent. It really felt like it wanted be heard. The first time I heard my name, I immediately hid under my blankets.

The only thing that I could see was my alarm clock right in front of me and I knew it wasn’t on. Also, the voice was coming from the …

Haunted by Voices and a Shadow Figure

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could help me understand why this has been happening. I have felt this way since I was a young child.

When I was about 4 years old I lived with just my dad. Then I moved in with my mother in a big house that was very old. When I moved in my mother said, about 2 months of living there, I would wake up screaming and would have a very high fever. Then when I got older it started getting worse. I would wake up every night and there would be just a big figure standing next to my bed. I could never tell what it was but it would be there every night! Some nights I would have these horrible nightmares and when I would wake up I would have a fever and it was like I was still dreaming while I was awake, and I remember these nightmares would be these …

Whispered Voices

This is my second story here… and there will be a few more… anyway here we go. When I was younger, 7 or so (I’m 29 now) I would have dreams about my parents house but it didn’t quite look like their house. I would be hiding in the house and was very scared for some reason. I would peak out from where ever I was hiding and see people but their faces would be hidden behind an almost like masks. Their faces were white but you could see where the nose should be etc. and I could hear them talking but not understand a word. It would come across as almost a harsh whisper.

They would be doing things like sitting around a table and standing in the back yard. Nothing weird. When I would wake up from these dreams I could still hear the voices and almost felt like the room was spinning. I couldn’t fall back to …

Strange Whispering

Okay I haven’t told many people about this yet, let alone put it on the internet, but I need to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing because every time I try and remember it I keep thinking maybe it was my imagination.

It was the middle of the day and I was at my grandmothers house making lunch before I went to see my friend. I was in the kitchen when all of a sudden I heard whispering. I don’t know if it was in another language or if it was just talking so fast I couldn’t understand it but it whispered three times holding for 3 seconds something and it seemed to be coming closer and closer. I have no idea what it was saying. I keep trying to remember. At the time I thought I must be imagining things or there has to be a logical explanation like we can hear the neighbors radio sometimes …

Voices in My Room

I’ve been living in my apartment for a while now, I moved in just last winter. I didn’t really want to be here but what choice did I have.

For as long as I can remember, every time I experienced paranormal activity I’d tell my mom or friends but they always thought I was crazy and told me I’ve been watching too much TV. Or they would act like they believe me then when I turn my back to walk away I’d hear snickering.

Many of the people I hung out with just up and disappeared, moved away and never heard from them again. So I promised myself I would never tell another soul about my experience with the paranormal.

Until now that is. I found this website just searching around on Google. I thought “What the heck, looking isn’t going to hurt” So I did.

Anywho, ever since I’ve been here strange things have been happening. My TV will …

Whispers Cries and the Hooded Figure

I never really understood why my sixth sense is slightly opened. I tried my hardest to ignore them but I could really sense their presence in our home. I’m going to share two stories that happened in our home.

1. I was seating in our sala (living room) and watching TV. My brother was across the room using our PC. Suddenly, near the window of the sala I heard a faint sob. I didn’t mind it at first thinking it was just my mom snoring (my mom is a loud snorer). The sobs where getting louder and intense more of a cry for help and anger I could not understand. I turned off the TV believing that it was coming from the TV but I still could hear those cries. I walked towards my brother and asked him if he heard anything usual and he said he did not hear anything. I went to my mom and dad’s room believing …

Terrified Six Month Old Grandson

I want to start by saying that this is very new to me and my family. One questions the stories they hear, until it happens to you. There is definitely something that is NOT “normal” in our house.

We recently moved into our new rental home about 5 weeks ago and ever since the move, one by one, we have all experienced weird and questionable things. My family is large. It is myself, my fiancé and we have a total of 6 kids that stay here off and on. Not to mention the sleepovers.

One night I think I mentioned to the older kids, that I felt something weird in the house. Right away, they agreed and we all began to tell our stories. Let’s make this short because I want to get to the real reason I am writing this story. The experiences we have encountered have been voices, shadows, movement, drawers opening, persons in form, which have been …

How Can I Make this Voice Go Away?

The first time I heard my name whispered, it was late, I was tried, and I was half asleep. So, being the totally logical person that I am (yea, right…) I assumed that it was me being tired, the TV downstairs, or my brother trying to freak me out, or, maybe possibly, a mixture of all three. I looked through the crack in the door (at this point I was too afraid to sleep with it shut) and I saw a shadow. I – knew – that it was my brother and decided to deal with it later.

Three years later and it’s happening again.

I have changed rooms twice since then, I’m not even near my old room where I heard my name whispered. It started again just a few weeks ago. This time, it’s terrifying me.

I’m not the girl who gets easily scared, I’m the girl that stays up half the night watching horror movies, then goes …
