Birdcage Theatre Experience

In 1998, my husband and I visited Tombstone, Arizona. One of the buildings we toured there was the Birdcage Theatre. I’ve heard all sorts of stories about its frequent paranormal activity, but I hadn’t heard any of that before I saw the building for myself, so I sort of went into it blind. Just thinking it would be an interesting historical site to visit.

The Theatre is not a big building – very small with lots of displays, etc. set up all over the place. When you walk in past the lobby to the main area of the theatre, you’re looking across a long room to the stage at the end of it. We walked over to the stage, and then up the stairs that are situated to the left of the stage – between the stage and the wall.
