My House is a Ghost Playground

Ever since I was a small child, I have always thought that my house is haunted.

When I was younger, my room was upstairs in the two-story house I still live in with my parents. From the beginning I heard footsteps almost every single night around 12:30 coming up the stairs and stopping at my door. Thinking that it was my parents checking on me, I decided one night to try and scare them by jumping out into the hallway. To my surprise, the hall was empty.

After that experience, I moved downstairs into our old dining room that had been converted into a bedroom. One night I couldn’t sleep so I decided to sleep in my parents bed with them.
