The Whistler Ghost In Morrow Ohio

The house where we lived when I was small was probably a grand home in it’s time. It was full of creaks and odd noises like all old homes.  My family was poor, very poor and we were a big family of 6 children and we always had a dog or two, so nice big homes were a bit hard to find.

My dad drank a lot and it was hard for my mom to make the rent sometimes. So in 1959 when we were offered this old rundown house, we were stunned. Like I said this home had been a beauty in it’s heyday, but years of neglect had begun to take a toll on it by the time it was offered to us. After Hours of Cleaning, painting, scrubbing and lots of back breaking hard work oiling the woodwork and floors, the old home started to shine inside and out.

Dad hated that house, probably because it was …

Haunted Basement Apartment

Hello all, my name is Lindsey and I used to live in Loveland, Ohio. I believe in all my heart I had some type of haunting in my basement apartment. I moved in my Apt in June 2007. Nothing happened for months, everything seem quiet and comfortable.

Around September after I moved back in things started to begin. I remember one day coming home from spending a few days with my dad and step mom and her kids. My door was bolted and locked and window had the broom stick still in it but when I want in the faucets in bathroom  and kitchen was on, shower was running and all lights were on. I knew for a fact everything was off, just a small lamp was turned on so I could see when I got home.

It freaked me out because no one had a key or could get in. Well I didn’t stay the night, I turned …

The Sorg Opera House Ghosts

My dad owns this really amazing place in Middletown, Ohio. Its called the Sorg Opera House, it was owned by a very rich man named Paul J. Sorg. My dad bought the place with his partner last year in November 2007 when I was 15 years old. I’ve only had a few experiences there but I know that there is something there that we can not explain.

First of all the ballroom is haunted by an old bartender. I’m not sure what year he died or when he bartended there. Sometimes I stay in the ballroom with some friends over night. Sleepovers can be fun in an old spooky place. I was in the game room of the ballroom, and my friends, Kristin and Boggs, were in the other part sitting on the stage. I was playing guitar hero, and felt something touch my shoulder. It got kinda cold, so I ran over to them.

Kristin has had a little …

The Baker Building Ghost

My father is a security guard at NASA Plumbrook in Sandusky,Ohio.

Both my father and I are believers in ghosts and the supernatural. But that doesn’t contribute to the thought of my father being biased. He is a very honest man and is by no means “loony” or “stupid”.

About thirty years ago, testing was being run in, as I call it “the Baker Building”. A man whose first name is said to be swept up in the sands of time had the last name of “Baker”. He was in his mid fifties when he died. He suffered a heart attack and fell down a set of stairs. I stood where he once lay dead. Chills ran down my spine and I couldn’t help but feel sadness and guilt.

One night my father was patrolling the building and heard faint music. He went to the room of origin of the rhythmic sound to discover that a radio was left on. …
