Fire Balls in Mexico Mountain

My dad sent me and my two brothers to Mexico to live for a year. It was Christmas. We were making a fire with my cousins and brother when we looked at the mountain and we saw a fire ball. We told our cousin, “look a comet!” My cousin laughed and said, “Stupid American you just don’t know that’s a witch but don’t worry just don’t take pictures or bother it, it lives in the cave,” then the fire ball circled the mountain two times and disappeared into the mountain.

I ran and told my mom what happened. She told me its okay its Mexico. I freaked I wanted to come back home to the states.

Two weeks later I went walking back to my grandmas when I heard the sound of a fire blowing in the wind. Then a fire ball jumped about ten feet in the air behind this brick wall. I ran back and told my grandma. …

Grandfathers House in Mexico

During my High School freshmen year, roughly 5 years ago, a family trip to Mexico was planned to take place during my winter vacation. Naturally, being my mother land, I was overzealous looking forward to my trip in the winter. Although, my enthusiasm came with a cold fear: I would be staying at my unoccupied Grandfather’s house, the setting for the majority of my families’ horrifying experiences.

When I arrived in Mexico, my dad, who lives here, picked us up and drove us to where we would be staying. During our short ride, my family discussed the exciting things we would be doing and places we would be sight seeing. However, I found myself kept completely to myself. There was only one thing on my mind: We would be staying in a haunted house.

When we reached our destination, to our surprise, the house had been completely renovated. No more was it the epitome of horror. On the contrary, the …

Demon or Devil in the Mexico Mountains

When I was about 8 years old my sister and I were sent for summer vacation to Mexico with my grandmother. Ok it was my sister and me with two other cousins and two village kids were in the village forest. We had gone to the a small lagoon called the Rock of eyes, sound better in Spanish trust me it’s a lagoon that has a rock that has a face on it. Legend has it that a small girl had gone swimming here without her parents knowing. Legend stated that the devil came down and cast her soul into this rock because she had disobeyed her parents. Ok that how the legend was told to us and frankly that I really remember this lagoon rock. Let me get back to the story.

So we’re walking on a lonely dirt forest road. When about 20 feet in front of us a men appeared in front of us looking into our …

The Little Boy in Grandmothers House

Ever since I could remember I’ve always seen ghosts heard things felt things you name it. I’ve had a very rough childhood but I don’t know if that had anything to with it. I will try to relate all my experiences expect for two stories that I hold dear to my heart (it makes me tear just thought of it).

One of the experience that I had was when we went to Mexico for the summer, like we always did every summer.

Well, in my grandmother’s house there has always been this thing about a pale like little black curly hair boy, around 7 years old that (from what my family tells me) he likes to make an appearance to children in general. My mother has said that when my grandmother got married that my great grandfather gave her a piece of land so she can start building a house for her and her husband (which is my grandfather). My …

The Ball of Fire

As every summer, it was a custom to go to Mexico to visit my mother’s side of the family. My mother’s side of the family lives in  a small “pueblo” just like you see in the movies, some houses are made of adobe.

When we will go, we would stay at my grandmother’s house which is two stories. My sister and I both decided that we would be staying upstairs, since there was a TV and it also had a huge balcony where you could see the rooftops and patio’s of the surrounding houses (we were at the time the only 2 story home in that area).

My experience happened when the town was having a five day celebration, which is basically parties everyday. This particular night I had decided not to go with my family and just stayed home with my aunt. My aunt slept downstairs, and I just stayed awake upstairs watching movies all night since I was …

The Shamans and the Voice

I grew up in the Southwest along the Mexican Texas border. My parents were both shamans and made their living during the off season from working in the fields as farm laborers, healing people, casting out demons, casting charms and offering counseling to the hundreds of people who came to see them. As a child I was sickly, quiet, shy and skinny. I had six brothers and six sisters, I was in the middle and I seemed to catch it from everyone. The only person who took in interest in me was my great grand father who was 90 or so years old at the time, his son, my grand father was about 70 or so, and they took great pleasure in spending time with me, teaching me about plants, taking me hunting, fishing, and spending time with me. They also taught me to speak to animals, develop ultra sensory perception and the ability to “see”. This is a very …
