Guesthouse in Kerala

Being an auditor my work involves visiting different places for audit. This incident happened to me few years back when I went to Kerala for an audit. I was staying at a guest house of the bank at the outskirts of the Kochi airport. That guest house had a peculiar architecture. It was situated at a distance of 2 km from Aluwa where the bank is situated. That guest house was two storied but the first floor was closed only the ground floor was used. The first floor was burnt and the renovation work was going on. The ground floor had three rooms all facing each other a common kitchen and a common dining hall. When I went there all the rooms where vacant except the one which I was occupying.
