Strange Experiences in Apartment in China

Moving dice, doors locking themselves, rattling doors, bulbs blowing and scratches…

This all started about 2 years ago in a small apartment I lived in in China. I don’t live there now, I moved out a few months ago. I never really felt that scared as I’m quite interested in the paranormal. Aside from the balcony doors, the strange things that happened occurred about once every month or two. It wasn’t day in day out stuff.

The first bizarre thing to happen was while me and my wife were watching a movie (a horror movie funnily enough). The story happened in a year when China’s 10-years cultural revolution has ended for a couple of years, and some rural area’s abandoned custom and traditions began booming again.

I always enjoyed ghost stories often, and I nagged my tutor to keep telling me some. My maid (aiyi as the Chinese would call it) did not really believe her, but did always comment on people who sees ghosts are rather ‘weak’ and ‘fragile’ (like my tutor). One day when we were just chilling, she told me a story of how she started to see ghosts. This story might not be really scary but I swear it is true.

When she was little, her town was …
