Victory of Good over Evil Indian Witchcraft

This is an encounter of my mother when I was very young, about 3 years old. At that time I had a problem that I was underweight and weak. My mom tried every possible medication available to get rid of my weakness, but when nothing else worked, my mom called a ‘baiga’ (a Hindi term for a person who practices the opposite of Indian witchcraft, they capture spirits and use them for good deeds).

He arrived at our house, he set up the scene with all the ingredients required for worshiping and proper ‘pooja’ (Hindu method of worshiping a God). First of all he held a ‘soupa’ (a bamboo tray used for separating grains from hay and other impurities) and took some rice grains in it and started shaking them, producing a melodious music, then he started chanting some ‘mantras’ (spells) together it made a very good music and it was kind of enjoyable to hear it.
