I’ve never told anybody this in fear that no one would believe me, so I’m really glad I found this site. Anyway on with my tale…
I’d say it started when I was about 7 years old. One day when me and my parents got home from just buying me a motorcycle for my Barbie doll, I played with it all day and even put some stickers on it. So then that same night, I was drifting off to sleep until I heard some rustling coming from my toy box. I tried to ignore it but then I heard a slight peeling sound, given that I have sensitive ears I could hear it perfectly, and it was scaring me to death. Then I heard a sound that sounded like someone chewing rubber. I heard a lot of noises that I can not describe very well and eventually they stopped and I laid awake the rest of the night.
When I got up the next morning I got up to find my toy motorcycle that I had just bought the previous day on the floor. The stickers I put on were torn off, the wheels were chewed to bits, and the rest of it was just a mangled mess. I showed it to my parents and they didn’t know what to say. They knew that I didn’t do it, because I was incapable of doing something like that since I was only a child, so they threw the toy away and never brought up the subject again.
Then a little more than a year later, I was laying in my bed about to go to sleep when I heard a faint giggling sound, I again was trying to ignore it but was soon petrified when I felt small hands press against my back and started rubbing me. This went on for about a minute or two before it stopped, and after a while I fell asleep.
I am now 15 years old and nothing too strange has happened since then, I mean when I am trying to go to sleep I will all of a sudden start to feel scared and I don’t know why. Sometimes I will have strange dreams about ghosts and wake up with a chilling feeling like someone is there. And often I, including my parents, will hear someone running around in the attic, but they think that it’s just some of the neighborhood children running around on our roof, since they have a tendency to do that. But I know better, I don’t know what it is but it’s mostly in my room. I’m a bit relived because nothing out of the ordinary has happened in almost a year now, besides strange sounds. But I’m used to them by now, and I really hope it stays that way.
When I told my best friend Ashley, she told me that her aunt has an Ouija board, and that I could come over and use it with her to see if that would help. And I actually yelled at her for even suggesting that! I couldn’t believe her, all that would do is make it worse. Ouija boards are unholy things that open a doorway for demons and spirits, I apologized later for yelling at her.
I really don’t know if it’s something about the house or just my room, I mean my parents didn’t buy thne house for a real cheep price, so I don’t know If it’s haunted. If anyone knows what was up please tell me!

I am so proud of you because you didn’t take your friend Ashley’s advice. You did the right thing. Not everybody can make the right decision like you.
Regarding your house, I think it is haunted by some harmless spirits. If they both you a lot, ask a priest for help so that the spirits will cross over.
Well, I can’t speak for the giggling or the back rubbing thing.
But, I do think that the toy motorcycle incident may have just been a rat/mouse incident. I think it would have been one thing if the stickers were “carefully” taken off, but if they were torn off, wheels chewed, etc. It sounds like a vermin thing.
No matter how nice or how poor a living space, rats do end up in the oddest places. I think it really just depends on the city/area.
If we’re going down the ‘all logical explanation” route first and foremost – which I think we should – then the sound of someone running around in the attic could also be vermin related – possibly??
Dreaming of ghosts (nightmares, or non-frightening dreams?) may well be because you have been frightened by thoughts of ghosts in the house. These dreams may, or may not, be prophetic – they could just be dreams?? Your mind’s way of trying to cope with being frightened?
The giggling and back rubbing are harder to just explain away. This may well have been of supernatural origin. Again, it depends on how awake you actually were at the time. Sometimes, as we just drift of, we think we’re awake when we’re actually dozing and dreaming??? Were you wide awake at the time?
Sorry – I don’t mean to sound like I’m dismissing what you’ve said, because I’m not. I have had al lot of first hand experience of ghosts (some pretty nasty ones too) but even now, I try to explain ‘odd things happening’ away as being something perfectly normal first off, with the “its a ghost” being the last-resort conclusion if there simply is no other possible explanation.
From what you’ve said in the OP, your experiences may be of supernatural origin or they may not? Hard to tell based on what you’ve said, if I’m honest.
Hats off to you for refusing to use an Ouija board though. Horrible things – I really don’t get what people see in them!
I have a friend who swears when she was a kid there were ‘brownies’ in here house…similar to elves or fairies…she said they were not nice, about a foot tall, and would hide in the heating duct work,etc.
Strange things happen, and strange events and stories are everywhere…so who really knows.?
well maybe the motorcycle thing was a rat incident. Maybe it wasnt. and the rubbing back thing couldve been a dream or possibly a friend or relative that passed on. =) really, i dont think theres anyway to tell…

Well maybe it was just a rat or something that messed up my toy, but the thing about the attic I KNOW its not. Because when we hear it, it’s like feet are pounding on the floor up there while they are running so it can’t be rats, it’s just too loud, as for the back rubbing, that was around the time my baby cousin died from a spider bite, so maybe it was just her
Why is everyone so against the use of a ouija bored ?? &&’ im not nor will ever be in to satin stuff ever!! but i mean you dont have to use it for bad things. if you take pre caution to what you say and ask for than your less likely to get an encounter with a bad spirit. and if you ask for specifically than your more likely to get good spirits. but than again ive never played… yet ;D

U should pray more and go to church! These things are not to be messed with! I’ve had similar experiences like these! It could be a sign of an evil presence inside that box!

Whenever you feel the evil try to think of Jesus when you are scared believe me he will help you.and yes the things you have seen are evil just try to stay away from it
