Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

My creepy encounter happened about 4 years ago when our family moved to East Fairview, Manila, Philippines, in a two-story house. Our family, including my second cousin and our maid sleep on the second floor. We sleep at the room on the left side of the staircase opposite to my cousin’s room. Anyone who ascends or descends on the stairs would be noticed. The house looks like a little bit creepy to me because there are splashes of red paint on the walls at my cousin’s room, they gave me the idea of a horrible murder on that room.

One night, when we are all peacefully asleep I heard footsteps on the stairs. Trying to get all my courage to look who’s out there, I left our room and see if someone is still having a midnight snack. I wasn’t able to see someone on the stairs. (Maybe someone’s trying to make a prank on me), I thought. Feeling a little bit scared, I resumed my sleep. For the second time I stand up to check the stairs for someone who caused the disturbing stamping on the stairs. To my disappointment I still wasn’t able to see someone. I got back to my room, very scared and having goosebumps.

The next day, my mother said that she had seen a man near the door. A tall silhouette of a man with blazing eyes,and my mother thought it is my father. I asked them if they heard those strange footsteps. They were also able to heard those.

A neighbor told us that there is a man that died there and before he passed he was able to managed to run on my cousin’s room, thus the blood. I think this must be a result of a murder or a suicide. Maybe he was still haunts the house. We soon left that haunted house after two years.
