Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I’ve been having strange things happen to me since I was a small child.  My mother could tell when someone was about to die, she’d hear a clock ticking.  My maternal grandmother and her sister were also gifted.  And as I am the first person in my family to be born in the US, my older female relatives on my mother’s side were considered witches and worse.

My great-aunt Louise spent the first 35 years of her life locked in the house in Zurich.  Now my youngest son is also gifted.  I’ve never been afraid of any visitations or occurrences and I made sure he wasn’t either.  He began when he was about 2-1/2 when he began speaking with ‘the man’ in his bedroom. He’d bring toys, etc. and carry on one-way conversations.

One night I had a horrific dream that I was the old man.  I was on the floor, my chest hurt and I was trying to crawl to the back door to get some help.  Apparently that’s how he died.  He went away after that.  Since then I’ve had many experiences and told very few.

I lived in a very big old house at one time. There were 8 bedrooms off the hall upstairs.  I kept the doors closed, and at around 3 am every morning I’d hear footsteps going up the stairs.  In the morning all of the doors would be open.  I guessed it was a mother with children in those rooms, checking on them.  I lived in that house for 3 or 4 years and she was a comfort to me.  When I was alone in the house, I really wasn’t, if you know what I mean.

I live upstairs in a house that’s about 120 years old now.  There’s a spot at the back corner of my bedroom that’s ‘unusual’.  I have a cat named ‘Himself’ and he’ll go in there, meow loudly and come running out with his hair standing on end on his back and his tail looks like a big fat utility brush.  I know there’s a whole lot that I haven’t experienced or seen and I’d like to but I don’t know how to focus myself or do what is necessary to learn more.  Can someone help me?
