My memory of this event is very faint, as this happened to me when I was about 5 or 6.
It was about 12 am and I was just about to fall asleep when I heard a distant sob in the hallway, which just so happens to be right outside my bedroom. The sobbing built into heavy crying. I was so scared I could barely move. My door was cracked open, and there was a nightlight in the bathroom, which is to the right of where the hallway starts, so I could easily see the light of bathroom light and anything that crossed it.
So anyway, the crying stopped for a second, then all of a sudden a black figure crossed the hallway and into the bathroom extremely fast. Then once again the heavy crying started again. By now I was scared out of my wits.
After a period of trembling and shivering, I finally built up the courage to go over to the bathroom and see what it was. The crying stopped the moment I exited my room. I slowly peered into the bathroom. I saw the figure, but it didn’t have any form or shape, the best I could would describe it is that it looked like a black mist. Then it seemed to move into the window then outside.
The next morning I asked my brother if he heard it too and he said he did, but didn’t think anything of it and went to sleep. But my parents heard nothing whatsoever.
Well that’s the story, and I swear the story is 100% TRUE. Has anyone else had this experience. I am only in my preteens and I’m desperate to find links to experiences anyone has had.

Do some research on the house, maybe someone died there? Did it only happen that one time?
I think so but like i said i can barely remember the experience.
omg yes I have I heard giggling coming up the stairs then i hid under my blankets but it was hot under there so I uncovered to get some air. i went into my moms room to tell her but she just sent me back to bed then we prayed and when she left the giggling was right beside my ear then that was it.
That’s scary! try sleeping with a bible under your pillow. heard that that may help. Keep us posted if anything happens again

Hi keep a bible wit you when you sleep. If you ever see a ghost just say or if you see that black figure again say “In the name of god who are you and what do you want?” Remember don’t be scared a ghost is just a troubled soul who has come back to get guidance or fulfill its wishes =)

that is freaky one time i saw faded hand prints on are lamp P.S what was the figure doin in your house i know it was crying but like did it giggle in your ear or outside the hallway
It worked for the past week then I heard a giggle and it was under my bed then I felt something scratch my matress…. I was so scared.
It could’ve been my imagination. But it was seriously one of the scariest moments of my life because i didn’t know what to think. But anyway, i know i heard what i heard and im sticking to it.
