A few nights ago, I woke up at 5 am. My mind was fully awake so I was having trouble getting back to sleep. Then I saw 2 people in my room, a man and a woman, I thought I might have been dreaming but my mind was aware. I closed my eyes and then I felt an arm underneath my pillow, and then someone hugged me from behind. This really freaked me out so I started praying. Then it happened for the second time.

I tried to open my eyes and get up but I couldn’t. It felt like I was paralyzed. I couldn’t move, couldn’t speak. This went on for about 10 minutes and then I heard my mom moving about in the kitchen and I opened my eyes and switched on the light. By that time I knew whatever that was in my room was gone.

When I was ready to got to work I heard my mom telling my dad that she also saw 2 people in her room during the night and she sounded pretty freaked. She also thought she might have been dreaming. But my mom and I seeing the same thing? That sounded strange and so it could not have been a dream but after 2 days I started to laugh about it and by now it did truly seem like a dream but then add another twist to the story…

My mom visited my aunty, 2 houses from our own and she said that my cousin was screaming during that same night, and he claims that someone was holding/pulling his arm. And another neighbour of ours said that her son was moaning all throughout the night and when she got up to check, the hairs on the back of her neck was standing. So she felt a presence also.

How can that be that all of us felt a presence in our homes on the same night? Three different houses. That is truly scary. Now I know that I really wasn’t dreaming and something or someone was in my room that night.
