I Live in Trenton Ohio. My husband and I lived here a few years before my daughter and grandkids moved in with us. A few weird things happened before she moved in but my husband just laughed at me so I let it go like battery operated toys coming on, doors closing when I know that I just opened, then as soon as it closed the toys in there would come on, feeling like someone was behind me watching me, and the shower head shaking while I was in the bathroom right in front of me.
My husband made excuses, like a cat could have been in the wall and stuff like that so I let it go. Then my daughter and grandkids moved in. Her youngest is three years old and deaf so when she gets up at night we are afraid she might get outside, if we yell for her she cant hear us. My husband kept telling my daughter that he hears her up a lot at night and my daughter said she’s not getting up, so just to be safe my husband put a chain lock on the inside of the door where they sleep. Keep in mind at the same time during the night we are hearing noises that we put off to be settling of the house.
One night I decided to set my video recorder up in my kitchen which was pointing directly through my dining room on into my living room, that night we saw 5 or 6 balls of white light coming out of the dining room into kitchen then directly down into the floor in front of the basement door.
The next day I decided to buy a digital voice recorder, set it up along with the video recorder that night, only I put the video recorder in the living room pointing back through the dining room into the kitchen on the bathroom door and the bathroom light was on.
When watching the recorder the next day, at around the first hour the recorder went black but was still playing and you can hear something messing with it and then all of a sudden it came back on focused down low on the back of the recliner that it was sitting on and went black again and came back on pointed perfectly back at the bathroom door just like it was and something white shot so fast across the front of the recorder and the bathroom light was now on.
Then I listened to the voice recorder, at what I think was the same time, there is opening and closing of doors, clanging noises, then a long creaking noise (remember that my daughters door is chain locked) and her door does not open that far and does not creak. Then you hear what sounds like footsteps (sounds like they have shoes on) running then a loud slam and then they directly go to the toys right beside the voice recorder.
This really freaked me out but still I am not convinced so I decided to put baby powder down where I know nobody will walk at night or when they get up in morning. When I got up the next morning there were bare foot prints walking out the middle of my outside door and none coming back. I opened the door and there was some powder under the door. There was also one footprint at the bar stool by the bar in the kitchen. When I reached over to check the stool out I turned it and the stool creaked as I turned it. Its the only thing in the house that creaks that long. The footprint looked to be about the size of a 4 or 5 year old.
My daughter-n-law told me that she thought she saw a little boy in that bedroom one night when she spent the night long before all this. Now my husband believes me because he got up a few nights ago and says he saw something out of the corner of his eye sitting on that stool. My 3 year old grand daughter woke up saying he’s hurting me one night but she’s a kid, could have been a dream. Then I found 3 scratches on her back yesterday, they look to be a few days old though and she spent the weekend at her dads, so she could have just got hurt. Anyway that’s my story and its true because I don’t believe its over yet, hopefully its just all coincidence, Lisa.

That is crazy! Have you seen the movie Paranormal Activity, this sounds almost exactly like it.. freaky!
Lisa, i think something strange is going on,, especially, now you have put the baby powder down…. its looking like the video camera is picking up orbs,, and the tape recorder,, wow,, all of those noises…. that is very scary!!!! i totally believe you, i go through this type of thing on a daily basis… my little dog even gets spooked!!!! would like to hear more!!!!

If the spirits were just making noise then I would say let them be, but since your grandchild has scratch marks, it’s time to have the house blessed by your clergyman.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with you all. a few days After I sent my story in another thing happened, I went to bed with my husband and was watching television and when i started getting tired I rolled over to fall asleep,,,when i did this ,,after about 10 seconds,,,something started scratching my pillow behind my head and i could feel the pillow sinking in behind my head,,,I freaked out, jumping up and yelling,,,nothing was there and my husband thought i was losing it that night. There are so many noises in my house at night but you don’t hear them until you get in bed.sounds like doors opening and closing in my kitchen. I can be laying in my bed watching television and hear noises like someone walked right up to the bed next to me and is standing right beside me in bed. my computer is next to my bed and it sometimes completely goes off like someone unplugged it. If the person who does the paranormal in preble county reads this ,,i didnt get your message on how to each you,,i probably deletedit by mistake,,,please send it to me again,, I really need this checked out,,,I have been trying to ignor it because i was told that doing these things invites it in,,but Iam really worried,,,,thanks,,,Lisa

hi eerie story i have a couple questions 1 is it a bad idea to use a spirit board to to talk to a personal demon i have i havent been hurt yet just freaked out sometimes but i just want to ask why its sticking with me why it watches me what its intenstions are stuff like that 2 how old do you have to be to join a pnit paranormal investigaition team im 17 but im veryinterested in this type of things and i want to kno why they are here even thow they were alive to once so if some one could hit me back id appreciate it take it easy evreyone ps watch your back you never know who or whats watching : )

This is a very interesting story. Thewhole thing with the cameras and all. I have a question though…even if you know something is in yur home, and you don’t catch it on video or EVP it means it’s still there right? or does it have to show up on video? I tried that, butI got no successful results in my home. Also, I feel like I am starting to be a magnet for weird activity, in my old house, in my new house, and something strange happened today at a friend’s house that got me thinking. It was very strange, I was in m friend’s room and it was freezing in there, he had the fan on but it was way too cold to be just the fan, and I was sitting in a chair, there was a heater in front of me, ad I wa just freezing, and when he left to go to the restroom, the heater turned on. I thought it was him turning it on, he has a remote for it, but when he came out he asked me if I turned it on. I said no, I thoughtyou did, and he said no, the control was on the couch. I thought it was pretty strange, I don’t even know how to turn that thing on!!! he was telling me that someone who had lived there before hanged himself in that house, and they hear things at night but never have experienced anything….creepy…..

anonymous.. yes,, laying down baby powder is an excellent way to see any sort of tracks.. you can even put it on window sills, furniture,,stairs, hand railings , ect::: and if its disturbed, and you have debunked everything is could have been,, there you have it.. a spirit of some sort….

What kind of floor do you have? Baby powder sure sounds messy, especially if your doing it more than once.
