Painful Nights At Mom’s

Posted on September 3, 2008

So, here I am again, for the third time. This time to add to my experiences at my Mothers house, my previous story stated I would update if there was anymore, well, this summer has brought more events.

I go to my real mothers house every summer, and this summer was no different, well, except a new house that I was use to since my first visit on New Years. I had the room upstairs, that room where my cousin, brothers and I recorded our first ghost chat. I wasn’t big on the idea, but to be respectful, I took it and fell asleep the first night around 9:30. I woke up fine and thought the ghost was fine with all the people. But I found out I was wrong.

After that, my  back hurt from a regular bed, no padding on it. I was use to a futon bed, so, I slept downstairs in the recliner. After a while, the pain stopped and I was fine. A few weeks into my vacation, we decided to go to the beach, we got in our bathing suits and left. I sat in the way back of my moms Blazer. My legs crossed, the skirt of my bathing suit up. I looked down and saw a huge bruise on my leg, and I couldn’t remember hitting my leg at all. I was sort of scared.

So after that first one, I kept looking all over my body for those mysterious marks. a week goes by, nothing. I thought it was over, but again, I was wrong. I found small bruises on my right arm, and it looked as though someone had grabbed my arm and squeezed really hard. No one had ever touched me that way, if they ever would have tried, I would have taken them down, years of karate isn’t for nothing. So I continued checking my body.

As I type this, I am still in Maine. Just not at that house, I got away from it by babysitting all night.

A few nights ago {at least from when I typed this} I had a strange feeling, a scary feeling sitting in the living room one night alone. I remembered what my brother told me that New Years, about my older brothers room, now converted to the younger brothers room. How nothing strange happened in there. So I slowly moved from the chair and ran to the door, having a bit of trouble opening it. But when I did and I got in the room and shut the door, the fear I had went away. Like, the fear was a hand on my shoulder, and who ever had the hand there, took it off suddenly.

My brothers looked at me weird. But only my older brother and the oldest of the younger brothers was there, Nicky, the youngest of the younger was in the upstairs room, so I crashed on his bed that night. Last night I slept on Devin’s. Luckily there was an extra bed on the floor so someone ended up sleeping there.

I will continue to sleep in there, because I don’t receive strange feelings nor bruises anymore. I only have two more weeks, then I return to the small apartment with my other Mother for the school year.
