How Can I Make this Voice Go Away?

The first time I heard my name whispered, it was late, I was tried, and I was half asleep. So, being the totally logical person that I am (yea, right…) I assumed that it was me being tired, the TV downstairs, or my brother trying to freak me out, or, maybe possibly, a mixture of all three. I looked through the crack in the door (at this point I was too afraid to sleep with it shut) and I saw a shadow. I – knew – that it was my brother and decided to deal with it later.

This happened 10 years ago. Two other friends and I went to a place in Kentucky called Beaver Dam. We loved walking through Cemeteries and taking photos, and this particular day in Beaver Dam we visited one. The front of the graveyard was more current and the older part was on the hill. We visited the new part first no big deal didn’t feel anything weird, but when we reached the hill that’s when stuff got strange. My two friends wanted to hold a daytime séance on someone’s grave and I strongly disagreed and protested it was just a strong feeling I had. My one friend quickly decided I was right and said we needed to leave right away because it didn’t feel right to be there anymore and plus the sky turned dark like it was going to thunderstorm. Cemetery Scare with a Twist

When I was younger my best friend’s brother committed suicide. My friend was over one day and he was telling me about some weird things going on in his house that he assumed was just the ghost of his brother. His brother used to like to play a lot of jokes and he was a goofy, friendly guy so it was in his nature to play a cruel joke on people just to get a kick out of their reaction.

Anyway, after my friend finished telling me what was going on, an old toy of mine turned on by itself. My friend and I looked at each other and I laughed and he very seriously stated it was his brother, but I didn’t believe him.

Putting an End to Sleep Paralysis and the Paranormal

I’ve always experienced sleep paralysis. It started when I was a kid. I’d wake up, paralyzed, hearing unorganized noises, which make me imagine things. Most of the time when this happens, I want to go to my parents’ room. I see myself doing this and then I’m fine. After a while I wake up again paralyzed, realizing I really didn’t go to my parents’ room. This tortured me all throughout my entire schooling years. When I’m studying all night, I take a break at around 2:30, then wake up at 4 am. During 3 am I often feel like I’m being watched, strange noises, shadows moving about in my peripheral. I’d say I was quite delusional caused by my fear of 3 am. Case of the chicken and the egg. Prayer always makes it go away though. Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes it disappears quickly. I Used Ouija Boards

I used Ouija boards in my late teens and early 20?s – I haven’t touched one since I left university 21 years ago. I had many interesting, and even funny experiences but I was lucky. In fact, we were possibly protected because we were warned by the spirits to stop.

We talked to a man from Newcastle who murdered a child, he wasn’t ‘evil’ or even scary, he was desperate. He told us he was alone in nothingness, surrounded by blackness, he didn’t know how to help himself or get out of that dark place. We talked to him a lot, we felt sympathy for him and he was never threatening.

We lived in a hall of residence, and in one session, the board spelt out ‘by the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes’ and seconds later, our friend walked in. In our 2nd year, we all fell out because she started acting oddly, after the fall …

Friend or Foe

It was a stormy evening in October and me and my son just moved in a house in Ohio. It was night and I was still unpacking and my son was in his room unpacking his things. Then I heard noises from my sons room. I told him not to be playing and to be unpacking but then he said that he was playing with his new friend. I thought he was just pretending until the next morning.

That next morning I was making breakfast for me and my son. he came down from his room and was talking to someone. I thought he was talking to himself. but then he was eating and playing with his cars and then he placed a car at the next seat beside him and then the car started floating. I thought I was losing my mind so I made my son Jared go play in his room while I took a shower.

Sleep Disorder or Ghosts?

Okay, it’s been a while since I posted anything and this is really more of a question than a story. I have had experiences with what would seem to be ghosts and have definitely had experiences with demons, but this is a whole different thing. Has anyone ever heard of a sleep disorder that makes you hallucinate?

For as long as I can remember I have had “people” “visit” me at night. I wake up and there will be someone standing by my bed, hovering above my bed, or watching me from a doorway. They usually don’t make any noise, but I do remember one particular time I awoke to a girl with long hair yelling “Wake up” while leaning over me.

When Dreams turn to Nightmares

This is the first of many stories I shall be putting up here. This story dates back to at least 1999 – 2000. Which puts me at about nine or ten years old. It all started one night in my small home in New York.

I was getting ready for bed as I usually would. I laid down in my bed and fell asleep. I awoke in a dream that took place in my home, but the energy was negative. I crept out of my room to investigate. ( The way my house is set up is: parents’ room in the back, bathroom, hallway, my room about half way down the hallway, then living room and front door.) Well I am 14-years of age and, I have encountered many paranormal beings. I grew up with a preacher as a father for the most part my father always had bad luck in life no matter what he did. I began to lose faith in Jesus… I met some of my friends family members and they were into Wicca, Nocturnal Magick, Witchcraft etc. They got me VERY interested into the Wicca side of things.

Maybe He Wasnt So Imaginary

In my family, pretty much at one time or another, each of the female cousins has their own little cousin. Their own, meaning that the younger cousin won’t leave the older one alone. For me, my cousin on my father’s side is Jake.

He’s four, and I am confused about his old imaginary friend. At the Christmas party for my father’s side in 2008 (when he was almost three), I was playing some game with Jake in the game room/sewing room/fitness room when I noticed a huge shadow come up behind him. Shaking Beds in Certain Rooms

I’ve had several things happen to me over the past several years and I’m still not sure what to think…

First off I live in a house that was brand new and no one has live in this house before us. There are two bedrooms in the front of the house and two in the back one of which is mine. The two front rooms were my sisters room and the guest room. When I was in high school I would hang out in the guest room to watch TV. I watched TV there a lot and never had any problems but one night I felt the bed shaking.

Dawkins Road Oldham County Kentucky Haunting

This is a story I don’t tell very often. I grew up in Oldham County Kentucky, on Dawkins Road in an area called the Devil’s Backbone because of its higher elevation compared to the surrounding countryside. We lived in an old house that was supposedly built before the Civil War. It has been torn down some 20 years now.
