My Paranormal Experience

When I was growing up, I constantly heard my older brother and sister telling my mom that they swear our house is haunted. My sister lived upstairs with her husband, who was back then her boyfriend. My older brother’s room was right below my sisters kitchen. I didn’t believe in ghosts when I was younger, because I saw my mom always shrugging it off and had it explained to me that maybe they were just hearing things.

My house was built in the early 30′s, during the great depression, where a man from Italy bought the house with his wife. They had a son, and the day before his wedding, he was in a car accident that took his life. Haunted or Just My Imagination?

I think my house may be haunted but I’m not completely sure. I am currently 13 years old and have been living in a house that I think is haunted for about 3 years now.

The first 2 years of living here  I shared a room with my older sister and I used to see shadows near the closet and windows almost every night for about 4 months. They would scare me since my sister or parents would never believe me about the things I saw. We had bunk beds and there was a mirror directly in front of the top bunk. After I stopped seeing these shadows which was around November I would see a light coming from the mirror. My Demon

When I was 3 years old, my parents got a divorce. I became a very sad and vulnerable child, and I guess my troubled childhood, for example my mother being emotionally unstable with two young children to take care of (I have a sister who is two years younger) I became weak. Traveling Entities

Hello all… First I would like to say that stumbling onto this site has not only entertained me, but possibly given me answers to what has happened to me in the past.

My experiences started as a young child, still a toddler really. My Parents first home in Michigan was full of interesting occurrences that were really hard to explain. We would hear the kitchen chairs sliding across the linoleum floor as we were upstairs or in our separate rooms, to investigate the area and it would be vacant to any activity, other than the chairs moved to the other side of the kitchen. Unexplainable Presence in my Home

So we moved into our new house about a year ago. Everything was fine and normal for the first couple months, then weird stuff stared happening.

It started when my parents were sitting in the living room with the light out. They were the only ones home. They were just watching TV when the light popped on “by itself”. Who Were They?

This actually happened to my mother, but she repeated the story many times. I have passed it down to my daughters, exactly as it was told to me.

When my mother was a little girl she lived with her extended family in a large house with a large country kitchen. One night all the women of the house went out and left my mother with her grandfather to baby-sit her. She was 7 years old and the year was 1926.

She loved her grandfather, and they were sitting around the table in the big country kitchen having a late evening snack. Unexpectedly the back door to the kitchen opened and in came a number of small, hooded figures. My mother said they were dressed in black, with black hoods, their faces weren’t really visible and they were small, child sized. She said there were 10 or 12 of them. Where to begin? It all began with my sister, Erin and her old friend Kelly. They used to play around with an Ouija board at Kelly’s house on their visits, and, she always came back and told me about what would happen when they used it.

When I was 10, we moved further north to Lake Stevens, a brand new house, just built on an old cleared lot. Erin and I had gone to see Kelly while dad did some other errands, and, sure enough, we took out the Ouija board. They began to ask questions about the place we had just moved into. Haunted Motel Room in Bloomington Indiana

My husband and I were traveling back from vacation in Nashville. My husband wanted to stop in Bloomington Indiana on the way home (I can’t remember why just now – knowing him it had something to do with sports). Anyway, it was getting late and we were looking for an inexpensive motel to stay at for the night.

We found one off the beaten path so it was not a well known chain or anything. It was small, rather run down looking but affordable. I said I wonder if they have a room with a king sized bed as we had never slept in a bed so big I thought it would be something different to do.
