First Encounter – 2002. I was five. I was up in the storage room of the attic reading “Junie. B Jones,” when I saw a girl who was about 15. She looked lonely, so I asked her what her name was. She didn’t respond, but kept standing in the corner of the storage room, looking straight at me. She has beautiful red, waist length, curly hair. Sounded Like the TV was On

In June 2010 my hubby and I had something “abnormal” happen in the house.

I don’t remember exactly what day but I do remember the kids went to sleep early (which was great). Both my kids fell asleep on the floor in the living room (that’s where they normally sleep. Kids?) My hubby turned off all the lights in the house and the TV in the living room. He and I went to bed and watched TV for a little while.

My husband wanted us to have some “alone” time so I turned off the TV and we made love. Afterwards, I got up to use the bathroom and he left the bedroom (leaving the bedroom door open) to get a drink. When I came out of the bathroom I got back into bed and saw him looking around kind-of confused. I asked him what he was doing.

Ghosts in My Studio Apartment and Backhouse

Well I live in Alhambra, California and I have my own little studio and there are ghosts.

One day I was laying down looking at my phone and in the corner of my eye a man in brown seemed old appeared in the corner of my eye and than a woman appeared in front of me floating and disappeared. I didn’t think anything of it but in the backhouse the people told me a woman ghost appeared and talked with a a girl for 3 minutes. Talk about scared! And she said a man appeared with her also trying to hurt her and the ghost was protecting her. Trippy.

I believed her because I saw the same thing and at times I see shadows walking on my wall but what’s really trippy is the voices. Ohhh yeah, try falling asleep and hearing a man and woman talking in both sides of the ear.

Experiences in Grandmother’s Mobile Home

My sister is 2 years older than me, so we have always been close. When we were younger, we did everything together (play, sleep in the same bed, etc.). When I was in about the 4th grade we moved into my grandmother’s old mobile home, which was a place where many unexplained things happened. We stayed there until I was in the 7th grade and our whole time there, there was never a quiet night.

My grandmother had raised my mother and her siblings in the mobile home so they all had stories that they told us and they all believe us when we told them ours. I can’t say that my experience was totally bad, then only thing that scared me in the home was the closets (the sliding kind). I just always got a weird vibe from them. All of them.

I Heard a Voice Say “God”

I’m sensitive and have been since around June of last year. I have had a handful of paranormal experiences in the past year.

The latest experience was yesterday, July 4. I woke up around 8:30 a.m. and it was already around 85 degrees outside. I have to work from 12-5 every Sunday (yesterday included). Demons and Experiences in Omaha

I grew up in a fairly typical home in Omaha, Nebraska. I was raised as a catholic but not in a strict religious home. The house I was raised in was unusual though. My mother experienced odd things and seen ghostly shapes on a regular basis. I found about these while I was a child and experienced things myself. My bedroom was in the attic and at night I would often hear footsteps coming up the long wooden staircase, would set up and look, but there would be no one there. I would hear things in my room moving, but being scared, would hide under the covers like most children do. I didn’t think much about it because I sort of got used to it over time.

I Worked at a Haunted Nursery

I’ve had many supernatural experiences in my life, but there is one in particular that I’m going to tell you now which is still on-going.

Two years ago, I started work at a children’s nursery in the middle of the city I now live in. This nursery is connected to a college, and we have children who’s parents are either students there, or teach, as well as children from the community. At first glance, you’d never think it would have it’s fair share of spirits, until you found out that the nursery and connecting college used to be an old workhouse.

A Happy Ghost?

I was about ten it was the first night my twin brother and I were to sleep in separate bedrooms. I was soundly asleep when I heard a loud bang. I got up to investigate which was strange because I would have normally been scared but this time I felt at ease. I looked through out the whole house finally reaching my brothers bedroom by this stage I was wide awake and sat at the edge of my brothers bed. The room suddenly became very cold so I crept under the blankets for warmth and comfort.

I lay there but was unable to keep my eyes closed. Suddenly I saw a golden cloud about the size of a football float over the bed and towards the center of the room. I ignored it but it remained and once again floated over the bed.

Man in Black

When I was 4 I woke up in the middle of the night and asked my mom for a drink. I shared a room with my mom and younger sister in a small apartment with other family members. My mom came back with the drink and walked over to the window because she heard sirens and a helicopter.

I drank my water and asked my mom who the man dressed in black in the closet was. She turned around and looked and no one was there so she said she didn’t see anyone. I said, “he is standing right there and he was shaking his head yes while you were looking out the window.”

The next day my uncle pulled over to help someone who broke down, when he got out of his car he was hit by another car and had to be flown by helicopter.

The Ghost and the Balloons

I am an individual who relies on the scientific method and reason to arrive at my own conclusions, so the truth is that I cannot say whether or not the events detailed below involved ghosts. Perhaps there is some other explanation, but I honestly do not see how anything other than the paranormal could be at the heart of them. In any event, for the past 12 plus years I have been a part time bartender at a dinner house/bar located in Newark, California called Swiss Park. The main building of this facility was built in 1933 or 1934, and little has changed since that time.

Deja vu of Horrifying Incidents

Our home was in front of a park, which was followed by two graveyards. People always asked me if I was afraid of living so close to two graveyards. “No, I am used to it,” I always replied.

It was around two or three in the morning. I woke up to hear my dad yelling at my brother. My dad was telling him to stop pretending to be asleep because he caught him coming out of the bathroom running; why wasn’t he asleep? It was late.

“Dad, I wasn’t awake. I was asleep because I feel sick,” I heard my brother say.
