My Daughter’s Imaginary Friend – A Ghost In Our House

Often times we hear about a child who’s imaginary friend seems to be a ghost. Here is just such a story. This story of ghostly encounters was submitted by a member of our paranormal forum.

I have only shared this with a few people and only after they have had an experience at my home. My son was 3 and my daughter 1 when the first thing that happened was as I was laying down in bed my boyfriends radio that he placed in our bedroom turned not just on but slowly it started turning up.

He was working 3rd shift at a local gas station. So I called him. I asked him where he put the remote for the radio, logical thinking, I laid on the remote. He began telling me about how he lost the remote a few years back at his fathers house. So I slept on the couch after unplugging the radio.

Haunted Former Mental Hospital

Hey ya’ll my name is Miley Paxus and I just turned 15 years old.

I’ve been living in this old haunted house near the old mill in my town and it’s kinda creepy. Before we moved into this house, it was used as a mental hospital for special needs patients. I was only a child, about five or six when we moved in because all the other houses in the town were too scrawny, weird and ripped apart.

I was 12 when I actually figured out the type of house we lived in. I was so mad at my parents because I’ve seen shows about people moving into hospitals and places where people have died! Anyways, I went on the computer an typed in “Tennessee Mental Hospital 63943.” It came up with a list of survived patients and dead patients. The survived patients were seven percent and the dead patients were 93 percent – just my luck.

I recently told a story on this site of a Guardian Ghost. That’s not the only thing I have experienced though. One is of a tale that was told to me through another’s eyes four months ago in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Me and my family had been visiting my Tia (Aunt in Spanish) Vernardita who is a nun working in a two-hundred year old place that takes care of the elderly. To tell the truth, it’s scary as Hell!

Well, we had been in the chapel with the other elderly and I had needed to go the bathroom very badly. The trip was made in a van and it was long! Plus I had too much soda earlier. As soon as I got out of the chapel I was lost. I asked the middle-aged receptionist where the bathroom was but she only spoke in very fast Spanish that I didn’t understand at all!

One night I was at a friends house for a Christmas party/slumber party (read kayleas story for more info). We decided to go down stairs and play air hockey. I went down there and turned it on but the air wouldn’t start. I decided that maybe it had to warm up or something so I left it alone.

Well, everyone was jumping around and having fun. Everyone was close to the air hockey table, and the air started up. We were pretty freaked out so we all ran upstairs screaming. Ghost Bride In The Mist

I always saw things in my sleep, so when I was walking through the park with my friend on that night, I thought I was seeing things, maybe I was, maybe I wasn’t. You decide.

My friend Felicity and I were walking our dogs, Lexie and Charlie in a park one evening, then things started to get weird. A huge foggy mist came down and in the distance I saw a lady in a white-grey wedding gown, she was dancing. I looked towards her feet, but, she had none.

She was floating by the lake and by the sound of it moaning or calling to someone or something, then she turned and looked at Felicity and I. Lexie and Charlie ran back the way we had come, but Felicity and I couldn’t move. It was as if a strange other-worldly force was keeping us there, and as soon as the lady had appeared, she disappeared without a trace.

Here is a story about a woman who moved into a haunted house and the experiences she and her family had there.

A couple of years ago I moved into a new house with my mum, sister, niece and cat. I always heard little noises in the night and found myself to be afraid in the dark. I put it all down to paranoia.

Paranormal Experiences In My Life

I am a 19 year old, regular college teenager. But I have experienced many weird things in my life and no one ever believes me about them. I know that when my girlfriend of two years says she does, she just tries to comfort me. Its always been like this.

It has been happening as far back as I can remember, but when I was younger, my experiences were the worst. Although my earliest childhood memories are faded like most people, I remember that I would occasionally wake up in the middle of the night and see a man in my room.

My mom thought they were hallucinations so I went to a doctor to get it checked out. He said I was fine and that it would most likely end as I got older (probably thinking that I made it up).

I have lived with my family in the purple and white trailer as long as I could remember. There are so many memories there. One of them is of the Guardian Ghost.

Well, the story begins when a friend of mine came over to my place. We decided to go to my room and lock the door so my brother and his friends wouldn’t spy on us. Haunted Antique Porcelain Dolls

During my lifetime I have had several personal encounters with the paranormal, or supernatural as some people prefer to say. I shared this experience with several members of my family when I was about 12 revolved around a set of antique dolls. Although I was not the one who actually encountered the ghost I was there while it was going on.

My grandmother found a set of antique dolls somewhere and she bought them and brought them to her house. The bodies of the dolls were made of porcelain and their dresses and hats were a combination of silk and feathers.

She put the dolls into a large walk-in closet at the top of the stairs. My older sister lived with our grandparents, her bedroom was just next to the walk-in closet.
