When I was 13 years old I had a couple of my friends sleep over on the weekend. My friends (I’ll call them Brooke and Jenny), were goofing around and decided it would be a good idea to go upstairs and play with an Ouija board. They were pretty excited so I decided I would get into it as well. My mom wasn’t coming home until later that night (she went to a big party).
The upstairs in my house is all one room (it was my dad’s bedroom for the 14 years my mom and him were married) but my dad moved out so it was all cleared out. We set up a circle of candles, turned off the lights, and all of us sat around the Ouija board nervous, and excited.
I’ve never played an Ouija Board before, so this was pretty nerve-racking. We all placed our hands on the planchette and started asking questions like, “Is there a spirit in this room with us?” and “What’s your name?” It moved to yes after a few seconds of waiting when we asked if their was a spirit in the room. At first I thought it was my friends pranking me, so I went along with it. It said it’s name was Ozo or something like that. It switched its name a couple times and it never actually said a name, just these random letters.
Later me and Brooke decided to take a break, Jenny stayed upstairs. We got a few drinks and some popcorn and went back upstairs to ask more questions. While our hands were on the planchette we started talking to each other about what to ask when suddenly the planchette started moving. It spelled out C-A-N-D-L-E and then went to the word “No”. We asked it if it wanted us to blow out the candles, it replied with moving towards the “Yes”. We were really scared to, but at the same time really anxious to see what would happen.
We all stood up except for Brooke as she was blowing out the candles. All I remember after that was Jenny making a comment “It looks like eyes!” In the dark I could see Brooke leaning over on her knees breathing hard and not saying anything. It scared us so bad, we were screaming at the top of our lungs trying to get Brooke to say something. I was just standing there not knowing what to do when I felt something right by my shoulder whispering something in my ear. It said my name. I turned around to see who was there. I saw nothing but my friend kept saying she was seeing a pair of eyes near me. My heart was beating so fast, I kept feeling like something was behind me watching me. Brooke was still on her knees muttering about burning and pain. She started screaming and crying. At the same time something grabbed my arm and tried to pull me near the Ouija board, but I didn’t let it. Jenny was just screaming at us and crying.
Eventually Jenny found the lights and turned them on. Both of us turned to Brooke to see her crying with a bloody nose. We started asking her what happened, she said the only thing she remembers was the pain and burning. I gave her Advil for her bad migraine and helped her with her bloody nose.
After that we took the Ouija board and threw it downstairs. We were still terrified and crying a little bit and went to my living room. We were just talking about what happened and the eyes Jenny kept seeing near me. She said it looked like there was some big black mist with eyes or something. We went to where we threw the Ouija board and my friend tried to pick it up, it burned her. Literally, there was a burn mark on her hand like you get from a curling iron. Brooke touched it and picked it up, it didn’t burn or even feel hot to her. I was too afraid to touch it so I let them deal with it. She threw it in my trash and told us to never take it out.
Later that night we watched a nice movie and drifted to sleep. In the morning my mom woke us up to ask us why we brought a Ouija board in the house. I stood up and saw it on the table(My mom is really against Ouija boards and stuff like that). She said she woke up and saw it lying in the middle of the table, we all explained to her what happened and told her we threw it in the trash. She said she never took it out and wanted me to get rid of it immediately. I took it outside and threw it in the big trash can. I kept wondering why and how it would get on the table when we remember putting it in the trash.
Through the past year we have had the Ouija board appear out of nowhere, we have tried burning it, but it wouldn’t burn. We never can get rid of it.

Why didn’t the ouija board burn the plastic trash bag?
wow,thats weird.u should of taken some pic.i dont think i have ever heared of anyone getting burned by the board.thanks for the story.have stuff happened to u since then if so do tell.i want to hear more.
a friend of mine had a ouija board like that it wouldn’t burn he split it in 2 and to eyes came at him from the board they he burned it only after he split it in 2 hopefully this helps you out

You know I saw one ouija board session once on youtube with these like 13-16 year ole kids. The one dude took his hand off the board and turned his hand over and the palm of his hand was brown as if he was playing in dirt. He was white and you could clearly see the palm of the hand he was playing the ouija with was brown. He then put mittens on his playing hand and proceeded to play again cause he said his hand was now feeling cold.
I also seen some dudes provoking the spirit they was talking to on the ouija board to appear and prove itself and that spirit actually manifested itself at the end of their hallway. This was their first time ever playing with a ouija board too. Strange things can happen when you deal with spirits and the ouija board. Don’t ever count any experience out no matter how ridiculous it sounds..
I really am not trying to take up your time here folks but i remembered this and think it may help those who wonder why younger people do these things even when they are told about the consequences. They are YOUNG ,INVINCIBLE, THIS IS A NORMAL PART OF GROWING UP AND ACHIEVING WISDOM. All we can do it try to help them stay away from the really crazy bad things
.Now my story, I remember something from when I was about 13 (NOT THAT LONG AGO LOLOL!), anyway there was a girl not realy a friend of ours but someone who used to hang with us. This is the 80′s so we were open to whatever… No O Board here just this girl pretending that she was possessed or being possessed , She desperately wanted attention ,( I KNOW THAT NOW, but back then she was just full of it ya know how girls can be catty).
The long and short is one day after school ,she goes into her “act” and somehow, (I am an empath did not know it then maybe that is why I noticed a shift), but there was a shift and she was not in charge of what her body was doing anymore and the girl that was in on it with her knew it. She had a HORRIFIED look on her face the girl had a pained and fearful look.
She suddenly stopped and said “oh it’s gone” , the end. She NEVER did this again, even though she was asked every darn day. I truly believe she was touched by the evil she was trying to act out. I’m not 100 % positive but I do think I remember hearing her life did not and is not on such a great path even to this day. My point, she did not even use an O BOARD. When you play with fire you get your fingers burned and some of these things are like crazy glue they go with you always and everywhere.
If you don’t understand something , use common sense and look it up read , see what the ups and downs are , you have internet and an open society , we had none of that. Protect yourself from the evil part of the paranormal , if you have a gift you can still pursue it and read and practice your gift without being reckless. why have I never used a Oijia Board well , my gut said “NOPE NOT A GOOD THING TO DO MARY” , so I agreed. I felt an overwhelming sense of fear even being around them and I cannot tell you why , maybe my guardian angel was tapping me and saying NO WAY, and I was lucky and listened even in my rebellious stage.
I WAS LUCKY I WAS LUCKY , until I was not and that is a story I will tell very soon as our home has been cleansed and blessed. I became unlucky , because I did not read ,study etc enough about my God given gift and a vile Entity hitched a ride , my family lost three years so it can happen to anyone.

I always thought it would have been a woman because they are tradtionally witches and are more intuitive than men (forgive my sexism but I’m about to insult women as well) Women are also more trusting than men typically. Not all women, but alot are. Usually spirits and entities and the like possess or take hold of pubescent girls not boys. Because of this I would have thought that the women would have burned it, but your argument also ties in. The woman is too weak so the man has to.
Or, I can stop being sexist and say anyone can lol. For example you can get male witches.

That is rather scary. My research team also had a negative experience with a board. I saw a huge shadow move in front of me as well as nearly lose consciousness whilst communicating with a spirit. I don’t recommend them!

playing with a Ouiji board it not a toy and the demons that come out of can stay with you alife time even if u don’t know were the board went sometimes people can contol this but the things that come through can not be controlled
See with alot of people/youths these days they think its a rather fun thing to do. As this story tells it is a very dangerous game. A couple of years ago my brother, his friend and my stepmum had done a ouija board in our family home. I believe in spirits as i can communicate with them, i have an attachment that can be very harmful. There might be some kind of help to get rid of whatever is there, but you do have to look in the right places. Anything else of you story please do tell, its good to see different experiences from the usage of a ouija board!!

Hello, I also have an attachment , Ghost hunting, when I was not very good at my gift (Empath) and was not protected. This entity has been in my house for three + years. It has thrown my son at 7 mos of age down the steps breaking his bone. It has scratched bruised ,shook his older sis bed and this was just recently , The worst recently was being thrown so violently at the top of the same steps my son was thrown down that I lost my unborn child (I was only poss 3 wks or so so it was not very bad ) but a loss of life just the same. It started like a prankster and ended up a nightmare, just had the Paranormal team in here and they got all these gentle EVP ‘s but they also have evps from the past where it is screaming at me and my son and hurting my 2yr old for 2 solid hours while he was supposed to be taking a nap. These are not funny or gamelike circumstances and I never approached them that way. But , still I have an attachment;. It will be gone very soon and I have taken all MY POWER back from it , But…….. I would love to hear your story if you have a minute . A little comraderie can help , they like to seperate us so they can dominate the more we talk about it and become informed , like anything else WE BECOME MORE POWERFUL and CAPABLE TO HANDLE THESE PESTS. Yeah I know it was really weird for my friend to get burned. 2 weeks after this happened me and my friends went online to look up what might’ve happened the night we were together. We never found anything on the ouija board burning somone… and my friend still has a burn mark on the fingers and palm of her hand. I have seen things on people seeing eyes near their friends, and black mist. And the bloody nose and migraine my friend had, most stories deal with people getting “possessed” and my friend doesn’t remember anything so we really don’t know.

The Guys have to burn it! Otherwise, you have to have someone bless it and then you burn it with roses: a fire of roses is the most purifying flame. Then, you rub holy water with the ashes of the board. That’s what my sister and I did when we accidentally summoned a hostile demon using the oujia board. she and I still have marks on our arms and legs! If you want to be even safer, you can wear rosaries and pray the St. Micheal prayer during either the summoning or the burning. If you don’t follow ANY of my suggestions, well, good luck then. You’re gonna need it.

Sorry about your very unfortunate night . A rule of thumb is to NOT use a board in your home as you can open the door to a lower level spirit who may be angry or mischievous, even malevolent. Man or Woman Boy or Girl makes no difference. If you released something another rule of thumb is yes to burn the board so as to purify the space. It is not a game as some have said here please do not think I am pointing fingers just trying to help if I can. N othing about the paranormal is funny or gamelike.
Spirits were once people and if you treat them poorly they will retaliate. Can you get your girls together and find an EXPERIENCED VERY VERY EXPERIENCE medium or witch practioner to pray over the board to send the entity’s back from where they came or the lower level spirits to go into the light and go on to their next level. Then burn the board together and scatter the ashes AWAY from your home , hopefully in an empty field where no one lives. But , get it off your property.
Your mother may want to be a part of the burning as your protecter and know that St Michael is there and your personal Guardian Angel will be there as well. Do this with a pure intent to send whatever was let out back where it came from , no ill will , anger, disgust , just peacefully tell it to go with the help of your mom ,friends ,and the experienced medium.
You should then feel a great peace and know you have learned a really good lesson with relatively few injuries. Please don’t do this again unless you are with someone who knows how to respect and use the board. You did nothing wrong , just learned a hard lesson . i went to Mexico for vacation and i brought back a ouija board that i bought from my aunts shop, it doesnt move at all but just from reading this makes me glad that it doesnt move lol. some how i still want it to move….. O_O

Omigosh ! That is so scary, if something tried to pull me towards a ouiji board i would be screaming and crying man, and why didn’t ouiji board burn brooke?? was it maybe cause she was the one who was slightly possesed or something?? My mum’s played with a ouiji board when she was my age (15) but she won’t tell me what happened, she said she never wants to talk about it again and told me not to bring it up. Is there any websites that can give more information about ouiji boards and what happens??
my mom did the oujji and she told me the story it was creepy it loved her freind and she said she didnt love him and he the spirt said ill make sure you break yyour are and sure enough her am got broke omgeeeee it was creepy

Burning a Ouiji board is a big no-no.Supposingly it accually make the whole expieriance worse that way.NEVER BURN A OUJI BOARD PEOPLE!

I have not heard of any good coming from the board or [SRIRT BOARD] and I Guss the holds a fascination for alot of people but they will tell u anything you want to hear so they can get free if some one asks you to play please say no and get out of there
My name is Hannah , i am age 12 turning 13 soon. although my age is small, i have always had a huge twisted want to connect with the after life. my birthday is coming up soon and i wanted a Ouija board. after asking family members and close friends they looked at me as if i was crazy and i herd some story’s i thought i would share, after asking my sister in law about what she knew about them she said:: once upon a time her husband ( Jake) used the board. cuz at that time they were all in a band they asked the board stupid questions to the board like if they could sell there soles to become Rockstars. 30 min after the game was over one of the boys was makeing noodles, after they were done the boy then turned off the burner. took the pan off the stove and put it on the table, went and called the rest of the boys ,( who were only feet away) the fire alarm went off. once fixed they went back to the pan of noodles on the table and the noodles were so burnt they were considered flavored ash. after a few more scary incounters. they left the board in the wilderness, came home and it was laying in the middle of the floor with the glass thing on no. they told me the only way to get rid of it was leave it in the temple. so i was wondering.. has one playing the Ouija board( not a baby) ever killed some one. cuz my town is filled with non belivers it is practicaly agenst the law to sell, (i looked every where ) where can i get one off the e net. i dont know why you would want to play i told a girl your age this and i hope you think about it.read some stories on this site and see what you think.i ca garenty that theres more bad then good stories about the ouija board.i’ve never played with one so i cant tell you not to.you know how your parents feel and you know what happened to jake so why,why on earth do you want to.what if something bad happens to you are your family ?i dont think you would want that.just think it over very carfully before trying it.

woah i am just 13 years old and i have been very interested in the stories from ouiga bordes and i do believe in fact that stuff like that can happen, when my dad was about 15-16 he said he played around with it, and he wont ever tell me what happend that night but all he showed me was a HUGE ripping-like scar on his back he said he got it the night after his paranormal incounter. but i will SO NOT EVER NEVER touch one of those damned things. they should make it illegal to sell those…
