When I was 6, we moved into the house that I still live in to this day. When we got settled I got up one night to get a drink of Kool-Aid and I saw the fridge door open and a little boy. He asked me if I was thirsty. It did not bother me, I was a little kid, and I kind of thought it was my little brother. I told my older sister about it, and she said that the house was haunted, but don’t worry since we have the same room she would be there for me.
Later on, I think Halloween of the same year, my sister had some friends over and she pulled out her Ouija board and I being 8 years younger than her thought it was cool because she did it. We were messing with it and she asked it something. Not long after that the stereo turn on and we heard Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech. She looked funny and checked the radio, it was on the normal station, she turned it off and then turned it on and heard just music.
Later on we moved for a bit because my dad was in the military, after about a year and a half my mom and dad decided to move back to this house. Nothing happened for about two months and one night my niece woke up. She was about two at the time and she was talking. My sister asked her who she was talking to, she said the little boy. My sister, after she’d moved out, I told her I was actually terrified to go to the old well in the backyard. She said she had looked up the house history and she said a boy did die here. Honestly I still see him, but he always asked me how come I keep getting older, and how come he doesn’t.
I was at my Godmothers house when I was 18 and her brother passed away and shortly after he passed away she told me she felt like he would come and see her. She was cleaning house and me and her son and daughter were helping her and she went to get a bottle she left in the hall. It wasn’t where she left it and she thought we moved it, and then she remembered we had not left the room at all. We all heard a deep laughter and she told her brother not to mess with it and all of us heard him say it is just like the old days huh? I have always seen ghosts, but they’re always good spirits.
