Well my mom moved to a new apartment and I got kicked out of mine. I ended up at her place.Anyways I had this cat named Nemesis. My family liked him but everyone from our old neighborhood hated him. (My mom and I used to live in the same apartments.) Anyways we have another younger cat named Cheerio.
Well when I moved to my moms house we never saw Nemesis again. He was a wild deranged black cat with a knack for fighting other cats or even dogs near by. But he was nice to me and knew better than to pick on Cheerio. I really miss him, my old neighbor said that the managers might have done something to him.
The one thing I remember most about him was his green eyes and curled ears that reminded me of horns. Just about a week ago, keep in mind I haven’t seen Nemesis for about 5 to 6 months and it is the dead of winter. It was 1 am I was getting ready to sleep. But out of nowhere BAM! Cheerio slammed against the back door and started scratching his paws against the glass. (He does this when other cats are outside but this was the first and only time he did it when it’s dark out.) I grabbed Cheerio and peered outside.
A black cat with curled ears and glowing green eyes sat inches from the glass. It gave me goosebumps. I thought, could it be Nemesis? So I flicked the porch light on with haste but when I looked back there was no cat.
Until about a week ago I didn’t believe in ghosts. Every time one of those ghost shows came on I thought it was just some rich housewife with an overactive imagination, deprived of sex and attention. But after my encounter with Nemesis’s phantom I do believe in spirits. Now I still discredit most of the hoo-ha I see but maybe a few are genuine. So I am working on being a paranormal researcher now. Not one of those phony actor ones you see on TV, but a genuine ghost hunter. One filled with skepticisms and doubt. Especially if said victim is a rich housewife.
