Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I had just gotten a new apartment, I loved it so much. I had friends come over until late and then go home. It was the life. After a while, I stopped doing that for a while, because it was hard to be happy when one of those girls just got diagnosed with cancer.

So, anyway, I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I heard a crash in the kitchen. I don’t have any pets, so I thought someone was breaking in. When I walked in, I saw a little girl about 8 or 9 just stare at me like I did something wrong. She looked very, very sad. But, I didn’t know she was a ghost.

This happened for about two weeks with plates and mugs that I decided to move out. I moved in with my boyfriend, Justice, but, still, the little girl would just sit on the couch staring at me. “What do you want?” I finally said. She started crying. I went and sat by her. Creepy! She stopped crying. “I want a mommy.” I thought she said, but I couldn’t understand her. “How old are you?” I asked. “I don’t know.” She said, that time I heard her loud and clear. “Do you want a mommy?” I asked. “Yeah, but I can’t.” She said, looking down. “Why not?” I asked. “Cause you don’t know me.” “I’ve known you for a while. ” “No, you don’t know me. Trust me on this, you don’t want me as a daughter.” “I do. Why are you always sad?” “I never had a mommy. I was always abused. So I -” She cut off. “You what?” “I killed myself.” She said really fast and really soft. “What?” “I killed myself!” She said angrily. “Why?” “Because I was abused. Were you not listening.”

This same conversation happened every night for four weeks. Then, my boyfriend finally broke up with me and kicked me out. He said I was a creepy chick.

I only saw that girl two more times. Both times smiling at me. Like finally having a mom.
