Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This story is completely true! I’m not trying to get attention or anything! I just want to share my experience with the world! I’m a Buddhist and proud to be one! So I’m going to start my story now.

You see I recently found out that every since I was born a tree ghost has been following me. So I’m going to start before I was born. This is what a Buddhist priest has told me.

When my mother was about to give birth to me, as my spirit was traveling to my body now, I passed by a ghost place. As I was passing by, I (apparently) promised to marry a tree ghost (the ghost is a guy) if he gave me food, clothes and money. So I promised. The tree ghost has been following me ever since birth (I did not know any of this until now).

When I turned 9, I started to hear somebody calling my name. I got scared so I thought it was my imagination. Then right before I was about to fall asleep, I heard him say ” -my name-, can you hear me?” At the point I was freaked out. I quickly turned on my lamp and looked around! I saw an image fading away. I could only see his knees and up. Though I could not his face. The voice was a man’s voice, a man somewhere in his 40s’.

The next today, I told my mother about it, she said that it was just my imagination. For ten years, I lived in fear. I kept telling my mother that it was not my imagination, it was true.

About two months ago, I spoke with a Buddhist counselor. He asked the priest. It turned about to be about what I said in the beginning. My parents said that if I marry the tree ghost, I will die. But I’m going to find a way to not die. Any help?
