Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I have lived in my home for about ten years. I live out in the country and love it here. My children were six and eight when we moved here. The house was built here for us and as far a I know this was cattle country.

I have a neighbor right next to us that has a brick foundation on his property in the field, that has an 1864 date imprinted on one of the bricks. So maybe this was all one big ranch many moons ago. So here is my story.

When we moved in my two little ones would say they use to see a shadow that would go back and forth between their rooms. They have a Jack and Jill bathroom that they share at the otherside of the house. I would tell them that they were dreaming.

I did not hear anything more until my daughter was a little older, about 12. She told me at times she would hear a little girl crying outside her window almost every night. I never said anything, just listened over the years.

So it is now 2009 and I get up everyday at 4:00 am. It was my day off and I was just going over what I was to do today. Now remember I was awake when I heard a little girl say mama, mama. We had our bedroom door open which goes to the living room. I heard her voice coming from the living room. She said mama twice. Then all was quite again. When my husband woke up I told him what happened so early in the morning. I also asked my daughter has she heard the little girl anymore. She told me the last time she heard her, she had just come out of the shower and before she turned on her light in her room she heard the little girl in her room crying. She turned on the light and for a brief second she said she saw the little girl. She had blond hair and a pink dress with little flowers.

Ever since I have had my encounter I have never questioned my daughter again. I have been sensitive since I was little and have seen and heard many things in my lifetime. I know there is something after this lifetime and I guess we all will find out.

This is only one of my ghostly encounters I have had in my lifetime maybe I will share another soon with all of you.
