Knowing Something Without Learning

Posted on June 22, 2011

I never really believed in ghosts, spirits, demons etc. But once you have have experienced something like I did, everything and anything is possible.

When you read on you have to believe every word, I’m not a person who tells lies, not with a tale like this, i wouldn’t want to go through the pain of imagining something like this. So it’s 100% true, and I’ve finally come to let it out.

It was September 1st and it was my first day back at school now starting year 7. I went to a rural type of school founded in the late 1800s in the country regions of England. The buildings where old and damp with the bricks breaking away. Most of it was safe to wonder around, but on the early morning of school, all 450 students where called into the huge hall with a message from our head. “students” he said “I’m sure most of you have already heard rumors about Tracy, our grounds-keeper, so I will stop the gossip and tell you that yes, it is true, she did die a couple of weeks ago in her home. Now, we are stopping all students from trying to pass her fence and into her house down by the river!”

I was shocked, Tracy only seamed about 43 maybe! How could she die at such a young age?

That lunchtime, my best friend Rebecca and I decided we would cross the fence and into her property, we had been there too many times before and knew it like the back of our hands! We did some plans and decided we ditch class next Friday and meet in the morning, faking to stay home sick (our parents had no idea, they dropped us off at school) Tracy’s home was just as old as the school, maybe older, and it was quite far from the school hissed by tall trees and thick grasses. But was this good or bad?

We headed down to the abandoned home and wondered over to the front door, the windows where boarded up but the door was open, I struggled to twist the handle that was rusted and pushed open the stiff door that squeaked loudly and echoed. I felt unwelcome, it didn’t seem at all like Tracy’s house. “hello?” I whispered my voice broke, this idea was terrible. A shiver slid down my back and I got goose bumps. A whooshing sound like wind rushed around us like wind and the door slammed loudly, it began to rain heavily. The whooshing sound was much louder and I could almost make out words as If it was telling me to to leave Rebecca couldn’t hear anything she said just the whooshing, no words! It sounded a lot clearer now I could make out the words perfectly “leave, leave, now, leave, or, become, one, of, us” there was huge gaps between the words but I could still make it out, it didn’t sound English though.

I don’t remember much more, just words “leave, now, go!” getting a lot angrier. I woke in a cool room in a bed, it wasn’t a dream I was in the school sick room I fainted, Rebecca was there, she covered for me, the teachers weren’t angry at all. They want to demolish the building, but the spirit living there will get furious and come straight to me! What do I do?
