Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

All my life I have been aware of presences surrounding me. Presences not of this world. From a young age I have been aware of spirits, my mother thought they were imaginary friends. However she has learnt to understand my skills in contacting the dead. Now in adulthood I have become a professional medium. Meeting spirits and learning about their lives is my life. I have only ever experienced good spirits who wish to be found. However, one month ago I met a spirit called Jaque who did not wish to be found. I will tell you of the terrifying meeting of events which accumulated on my first meeting with Jaque. I hope telling this story will end the haunting of me and my loved ones.

I was called to a friends house who claimed she was being haunted, I was asked to research it, which I did willingly. As soon as I walked in the door I felt cold and tingly, there was a spirit here so intense I knew it was bad. I told her I had never encountered an evil spirit but we would see what it wanted, and try to take it to the otherside. We lit candles and said a brief prayer to our God. We waited and asked their name and why they were here. Suddenly I had an overwhelming feeling of evil power. I cannot recall the next few minutes, when I came around I was one the floor and my friend’s face was full of horror. She said she couldn’t tell me what happened but she wanted to stay with me that night.

Later that night over a bottle of wine I pressed her over what had happened. She told me that I screamed, ‘ Ja’mapelle JAQUE!’ I was shocked, French? How could I know French? I had been to my friends house many times before so why had this spirit suddenly attached itself to my friend. I asked her when it had started. She told me a few weeks ago she had felt breathe on the back of her neck. Sudden moments of icy coldness. I felt out of my depth, this was a troubled spirit. I wasn’t quite sure how to approach it, I decided a Ouija board would possibly be best. We believed the spirit had followed her to the house, so we did it at my apartment. We asked what it wanted and if it could speak English.

We asked if their name was Jaque, our hands moved to wards the letter Y. We asked why it was following my friend. We got no reply. We asked again. Still no response. We tried a third time. The glass underneath our hands became incredibly hot, we took our hands away and friend asked me to stop. I apologized but said Jaque your scaring us. Stop being our enemy, be a friend. I looked to see the glass had fallen and was over the letter N. I asked do you not wish to make friends? The glass did not move, this was our answer.

Me and my friend realized that these happenings occurred only a few weeks after her boyfriend Sam discovered a body in the woods where he often goes running. We felt their must  be a connection between this body and Jaque. Her boyfriend was very traumatized by the finding and was on a break with his parents. We felt we needed to find the identity of the man, Sam knew but it was a sensitive subject, not talked about and it was difficult to see how we could ask. I had my friend Carra (my friend) ring Sam. They talked slowly, Carra carefully raised the issue and asked for the mans identity. She dropped the phone in shock, she was a very sensitive girl. I looked at her and she nodded, she ended her conversation with ‘Sam, I’ve got to go, come back soon.’ Jaque Le Bon. He killed himself, he didn’t want to be found. It was a terrifying sequence of events which I had never come across in all my  years as a medium. This evil spirit is troubled. Why he killed himself? We will never know, but he follows us always, does he feel attached to us? Does he blame us? Why?
