I Heard a Voice Say “God”

Posted on July 2, 2011

I’m sensitive and have been since around June of last year. I have had a handful of paranormal experiences in the past year.

The latest experience was yesterday, July 4. I woke up around 8:30 a.m. and it was already around 85 degrees outside. I have to work from 12-5 every Sunday (yesterday included). I decided to lay-out on the deck and work on my tan before going to work. My husband and son left to go to the grocery store. My daughter was playing on the front porch blowing bubbles. I was laying out on the deck with the woods to my left and house to my right. I’m laying on my stomach facing towards the house listening to the bugs and bird when I hear clearly in my ear a mans voice say “God”. The voice was of a man maybe in his late 20s to mid 30s. It was not a voice I had heard before. Of course, I popped my head up and starting looking around. No one. No one was in my yard. My husband was still gone and my daughter was still on the porch… blowing bubbles.

I sat up trying to comprehend what I just heard. I clearly heard a mans voice say “God”. The voice had almost an echo/whisper to it. Still there is no one in the yard, my neighbor in front of the house was not home (they went to their summer home for the 4th of July) and my neighbor on the other side of the woods was not home (a lady who lives alone and I haven’t seen a man at her home since she moved in).

Getting to the point, I cannot explain why I would hear a voice when no one was around. I decided to go back to the house but before leaving the deck I said aloud “I heard you. I just want you to know that I can hear you.” My husband came home shortly after that but I didn’t tell him about it. He doesn’t believe in the paranormal.

The truth is: I know what I heard. What it means and who said it is a mystery to me.
