Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I’ve always believed in ghosts and have (I believe) experienced stuff in the past but this one is confusing me.

I woke up in the middle of the night facing my TV which was off but just below it I saw what looked like my dog who died almost five years ago, so I blinked thinking it was just my eyes but he was still there and it was only when I sat up he disappeared.

Up to a month or so after I was asleep on the couch when I woke up to see a pretty girl who looked familiar looking at me closer than my dog was and I was terrified so I closed my eyes and hid under the covers until I fell asleep again.

This one scared me the most because this time I woke up the face looked like someone I know but I just felt that it wasn’t him. He had clear plastic over his face like someone was suffocating him and he was trying to get it off, his eyes were wide and panicky and he was trying to breathe, this was the first and only one which moved and was anything more than just a face.

I had seen a couple in between but these were the one’s which really stuck out in my mind. All the faces were grey, no colour at all and I was definitely awake every time.

I hadn’t said anything to anyone as the times before people always came up with excuses but after a while I’d had enough of being scared and I spoke to a few people about it and decided I would try and be brave enough to speak to them the next time but since then I’ve not seen another one.

I don’t remember being stressed at the time or anything as I know that’s sometimes the reason for things like this and am wondering why they would stop coming to me after I spoke about them, why were they all gray and why did they feel familiar?
