You know what they say hey? When you lose a loved one they always come back to see you. Well, my brother, Shaun, passed away on the 24 August 2007, not too long ago. Anyways, apart from feeling as though I had lost my left leg all I wanted more then anything in the whole world was to know that somehow, some way he would come back and see me.
Before I carry on though, I want to let you in on a little joke shared between Shaun and myself, he used to tease me about my second two, he said that it was so long that it had its own brain and central nervous system (never mind the fact that we had exactly the same feet).
Well, one night while sound asleep I felt my second toe on my right foot being tugged. I woke up to the strange sensation and while putting it down to nerve twitching went back to sleep. I do not know how long time passed but I woke up to a even harder tug on my left foot! I just knew that at that very moment Shaun had come to visit me to let me know that all is well.
I also sat bolt up in my bed and said “tell daddy I love him and I miss him just as much as I miss you Shaun!” (My father passed away about three weeks after Shaun on the 12 September 2007) I also asked Shaun if he had been there when my father had taken his last breath and did he see me sitting on the bed waiting for the funeral parlour to come and fetch him? I did not get any answers that night so I decided to wait a couple months and I went to see a medium.
While at the medium she told me that Shaun is such a jolly soul and that he is always smiling. She said to me that he is laughing and she communicated with him and asked him what the laughter was about and she looked at me and said that Shaun was saying that he did it, he tugged my toes!
Well as tears streamed down my face I thanked the lady and she said to hold on, he is looking a lot more serious and she said that Daddy said he loves his little girl so much and if he could of taken the pain away on that day while I sat with him he would of but yes, he saw me and was very proud of everything that I was doing to comfort my mother. He also said that Shaun had been there when he passed on and they walk together now.
So yes, there are a lot of sides to the spirit world but I just wait patiently for the next time I get visited by my passed on family.
