Haunting in El Paso Texas

Posted on January 6, 2010

This happened like three years ago. I was a sophomore in high school, a cheerleader and I thought my life was perfect and just happy people in it. I never really believed in any paranormal stuff. I thought of it as an alien, won’t believe it till I see one.

My parents were planning to move to another country, I didn’t want to move at all but then I had to. The day came for us to leave California to move to El Paso, Texas. We got to Texas and saw the house, it was big and it looked normal. Right when I stepped out the car I felt uneasy to breath and started to feel dizzy, “Are you okay Audrey?” My sister Alina asked, “Yeah, just tired.” I was the last one to get in the house it was like someone was telling me “DON’T GO IN THERE!” But then it was getting dark and getting colder, so I moved towards the door, then I stopped right at the doorstep taking a breath then all of a sudden I felt a push on my back that made me almost fell forward. I looked back but nobody was behind me. I ignored it, I thought I was just imagining stuff. Everyone was in the kitchen so I followed the house was very bright but I was seeing dark figures in the corner of my eyes but then again I ignored it. I went upstairs and picked a room it was big and the view of my window was great you can see the backyard pool and the woods. I started decorating the room with my radio and singing along. I was putting my clothes in my closet while I picked up a dress to hang in the closet. I saw a shadow in the left corner of my room then when I got up and faced the closet. I saw a leg behind my clothes. I just stood there shocked then when I blinked it was gone! And for the last time I ignored it.

The next day, I woke up but I didn’t open my eyes I was just thinking of my friends back home how I missed them so much. Out of no where I felt like someone was pulling my covers off the bed so I opened my eyes and saw nothing and it wasn’t pulling the covers anymore, and shocked, my room was a mess! But I swear right before I went to sleep my room was clean and now it’s all messy. My jewelry was everywhere and my picture frames were on the ground. I stood up and walked toward the door then I stepped on broken glass and my foot was bleeding! I heard a giggle back in my room. Then I heard my mom scream from downstairs. I wondered why she screamed. I got downstairs and my room was not the only one that was messy the living room too and the kitchen half or our dishes were on the floor broken into pieces, couches were upside down books were everywhere. My dad thought we got robbed but all the stuff was still there but just broken or ruined. They didn’t know what to think but I did but I just didn’t speak of it.

Days went by and nothing happened. It had been two weeks and the house was quite. My mom decided to go to a restaurant and eat because all we’ve been doing was decorating the house and putting fresh paint just working our butt’s off and we needed a break so we went for a dinner and it was fun and full of laughter. We went back home, My dad driving then my dad all of the sudden my dad cussed out loud and I looked from he’s direction, looking at our house all the lights was on and the front door was open, “What the hell?” my mom said. Now this time my parents really thought we got robbed we hurried towards the house and nothing really changed everything was in the place I went upstairs and nothing really changed I looked around me and my sister was looking inside of each room, nothing. Everything was okay.

Weeks past by we had our family over having barbeques. My mom asked me if I could go to the basement to get more ice and I was like sure. I went ahead to the basement. I was singing domino by Varsity. I went ahead to the freezer still singing then a cold breeze went by me but I was still singing just rushing to get out of there then in the background of my singing I heard heavy footsteps behind me. I closed my eyes for a second and sang louder but the footsteps were louder and closer then I got the ice and closed the freezer. I turned around and felt a heavy feeling all over my body then bam! I fell on the floor by something from my back. I got up quickly and felt a punch to my stomach I dropped the ice and screamed “Mom! Mom! Help Me!” I was still on the floor couldn’t get up because it felt like something was pushing me down. I lifted up my head and believed I saw three men talking to each other while staring at me and a little girl laughing at my pain, she was not beautiful. One man was in the corner of the room staring at me uncomfortable, then the door opened that will lead you in the house, it was my sister, “What are you doing on the floor?” she said worried “Alina! Help me!” I yelled, “What are you talking about?” she ran towards me and got me up. Now I was crying.

We went upstairs to the living room then I saw her eyes went big, “What happened to your arm?” she said in confused expression. I looked down to look at my arm while she ran outside to get my parents, and Oh my god my whole right arm was red! But I don’t know how I got it then I felt a pinch of pain on my back and on my stomach. I lifted my shirt up and I had scratches over my stomach and it was red. My parents went running to me and my mom all of the sudden screamed,”Audrey! What happened to your arm?” she said, “I don’t know?” I lift up my shirt and they saw the bruises on my back and the scratches on my stomach. Then my dad ask me what was going on?

Then right there I told them what’s been happening. They sat there in shock, surprisingly they believed me and promised me we would get out of this house. My mom told me I would be staying with my aunt until we moved so I stayed with her. Days passed and the bruises were becoming purple color kind, my mom would call everyday to check on me. Then one day my mom called and she said we were moving the next three days. Now I live in Hawaii with my sister. Yeah the thing that was haunting me was done but I always have nightmares about the house, the four men, and the little girl. I was in the middle of the living room crying and the four men were surrounding me laughing with their ugly faces and behind me was a black hole and they would push me in it and I would always wake up screaming from it. I still have the nightmares but I don’t seem to give it any attention because all I’m doing is showing them fear. Now I know the both side of life Dark vs. Bright. Thanks for reading.

Yep, sounds like you had some peoples stuck in limbo in that house. If they never followed you or your family to your new home then you know that it is stuck in that house. You should have had the house blessed or something or maybe done a ouija session to see what the spirits wanted. Hmmm..

  2. Sean says:

If they are still bothering you then you haven’t really left the experience behind you — I would get closer to the light and start praying or finding a good spiritual path — then your light will be too bright for them and they will have to stay away.

i wonder at the beginning when you said you heared voices maybe they were trying to warn you that your family wouldnt be alone in the house.

Sorry I am abit confused at the beginning of the story. You mention on the second paragraph that from the room you chose you could see the pool and the woods. As far as I know El Paso TX. has no woods. It is all desert. Are you sure it happened in El Paso?

  8. Anonymous says:

Where is this house located there is no woods around here unless you live closed to the mountain and still like that there is no woods!

You wrote “My parents were planning to move to another country, I didn’t want to move at all but then I had to. The day came for us to leave California to move to El Paso, Texas.” Just to let you know, California and Texas are in the same country! They are different states.
