Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Well, I was about 32 maybe 33 and I lived at 47 Windsor Road Chew Brook Liverpool. The house was built in the late 1740′s.

It all started about 3 months of moving in, I was painting on the third floor of the five floor building. I felt like someone was staring at me from behind however when I turned no one was in sight. I immediately stopped painting and washed and went to sleep at 11pm. I was awoke at 3am by the sound of the TV, and so, I got out of bed and went to turn the TV off and went back to sleep.

The next day the supernatural happenings got worse. Every single light-bulb flew out of the socket. I thought still nothing of it and at 11pm I went to bed. Again at 3am the same as the previous day I was awoke by the same noise of the TV and so I went turn it off by the plug. Awoke 20-30 minutes later by the same TV, so I went downstairs and this time checked the plug and it was disconnected from the TV so I told my girlfriend and went back to sleep.

The third day of the happenings started getting spooky. When we used to go out we used to lock all of the downstairs doors and leave one downstairs light on. When we came back, all of the locked doors were open and all the lights even upstairs were on.

A few days later bryonie fed the 2 cats and the dog then locked the doors and went out to the shop. When she was back, one of the cats were missing, she shouted for it and when she looked, the other cat was scratching at the dining room door. When she unlocked the door the came running out. she came upstairs and asked why I had locked the cat in the room, and I said I hadn’t and had been asleep the whole time.

About two days later I recall watching TV at 3pm and a human like figure walked right past me, I immediately ran upstairs and searched all the way to the top floor and no one was seen. That’s when I decided to call the priest.

When he came he asked when and where it happened and so I took him to the top floor and he said I needed my house blessing straight away. The next day when he came around and threw holy water all around the house.

When we moved out and I talked to the buyers it appeared the ghosts came back and the exact same thing happened to them.
