This is my second story on trueghosttales.com. My first story was called Is My Grandmas House Haunted? I would like to remind you that nothing in my stories are made up or exaggerated in any way. These are my real experiences. Coincidence? Who knows. That’s for you you to find out.
My story begins about a year ago. I have been living in the same house for about 15 years now. Nothing strange really started to happen until I turned 14. I’ve been obsessed with the paranormal for as long as I can remember and there is nothing I enjoy more than a good ghost story.
I had an older iPod handed down to me from my brother. Other than a few scratches it was still in good condition. During the day after I got home from school, I would put the iPod on my dresser in my room. At night I would take it into the bathroom because that’s the first place I go in the morning to brush my teeth so I knew I wouldn’t forget it. Late one night, I was sitting on my bed doing homework. Everything was quiet. suddenly, out of nowhere, my iPod turned on full blast playing a song I wasn’t listening to when i turned it off. I didn’t think much of it. I assumed it was an alarm on it my brother set when it was his. I went over and shut it off. I laid it back on the table and went back to doing my homework. A couple minutes later it went back again. This time, playing a different song. This time I was a little uneasy about it but I didn’t want to pay too much attention to it. I just put it in the bathroom for the morning.
I’ve had different experiences each night. Sometimes my radio would turn on out of nowhere, or I would see something in the corner of the mirror. Occasionally my room would get really cold. I have these bamboo bead curtains in the room that hang down from my shelf. If something moves them you can tell because you can hear them raddle. I would be laying in my bed on the verge of sleep and all of the sudden hear them move. It would be just me in the room. When I would look over, they would be shaking like someone moved their hand across them. I would also hear strange noises. I can’t even begin to explain to you what they were.
My mom and I like to talk about our experiences with each other. I was telling her about a story I had when no one was home. I was sitting on my couch downstairs. I only have 2 dogs and they were both with me. Right above the room I was in is mine and my brothers bedrooms. Suddenly I heard someone walking around upstairs. It didn’t bother me at first because I thought someone was home. Then it accrued to me, the footsteps were coming from my room. I thought my brother was snooping around so I went upstairs. No one was up there. When my mom heard the story she had a nervous look on her face. She told me she experienced the exact same thing.
One day, my mom was taking my brother and I out for lunch and my mom and I were talking about ghosts again. My mom asked my brother if he’s ever experienced anything and he said nothing. Other than the fact one time he was taking a shower and the lights dimmed and my iPod started playing full blast out of no where. I knew exactly what he was talking about..
I’ll never know what really goes on in my house. I know some people may say there’s an explanation but I believer there’s only one thing behind all of these events.

Cool story! We often have those sort of visitor ghosts in my house as well. Sometimes they just pass by, but they rarely stay to haunt for long. What you may have in your house is a stray ghost, or a wandering spirit that happened to take a liking into your house. I’m pretty much intrigued by the iPod though, how old is the model? Did you or your brother had a special fondness with that item? It would be possible that this simply ‘handed down’ item may have gathered energy from the two of you, although it’s not old enough to be considered an ‘heirloom’, it is possible for items like these to acquire energy from it’s owners, and this acquired energy attracted the stray ghost to it. This is only a possibility though. If there is no known resident ghost in your house, it’s also possible that this entity will stay there. But before you do something about the ghost, make sure this entity is not purely evil. You can help a stray ghost to pass on by praying over it, or having the house blessed, but if this is an evil entity, you might make it more angry. It can sometimes be scary, but you can always do what we do at home, learn to live with it. Still, the choice is yours.

I have had stuff like this happen to me before, since I was 6 yrs old or so, in several different places that I have lived in. And my best friend, when I was a teenager, had it happen to her too, and I have talked to lots of people who have had this type of thing happen. My daughter has had it happen to her as well. Idk why it happens, or what exactly “it” is, but if it scares you or anyone else, I would say it is not good, and you should not encourage it or welcome it in ANY way!!! Don’t use ouija boards or anything like that to investigate it, or try to communicate with it. It could be demonic and that will make things much worse for you. I would advise getting together all the people that live in the house together with you, and together, do a banishing spell to make it leave! Also pray to Jesus to make it leave! I know some say you can’t do spells and be a Christian at the same time, but I am, so whatever. Using a spell of this nature (self protection) is not of evil intent, so I am sure God will help you. I always use His name in my spells. Do your research first, and find a spell that feels right to you. Get it organized, and make sure everyone is on the same page with you, before you implement the spell. Do not put this off! If anyone does not want to do the spell with you, have them leave the house while you do it. If you have to do it alone, be very careful. I would try to find other people to help then, who live outside the home, some type of believers who aren’t too frightened to help, and preferably, have done a banishing spell before. Good Luck!!!
