Hi, This could either be a very thought provoking photograph, or… nothing at all. I don’t know the answer, that’s why I’ve decided to share it with you.
We had been on vacation to England’s south coast, I believe we were in Poole, Dorset. There were two couples, Simon and Mandy Lawrence and myself with my girlfriend. It was a summers evening around 10 pm, August ’06.
I’ve had this picture for three years, but when I got a virus in my PC my friend had to wipe the hard-drive etc to clean up the virus threat. I was upset that I’d lost this and many other photo’s during the clean up operation without saving the pictures. However, my good friend Shaun Williams managed to retrieve these old files for me just recently.
I still don’t know what to make of this photo. Is it really just some natural anomaly or something more,much more? The main reason prompting me to share it with you came when I found a very similar photo taken in Auckland, New Zealand on UFOCASEBOOK a couple of years ago. I’ve also attached the Auckland picture for your comparison.
I realize many people will insist its merely fog or smoke but I remember no such fog on those hot summer nights,its also worth mentioning that we were both non-smoking couples! Mandy took the photo of us. Can anyone shed some light? Surely you’ll agree the likeness in both photographs is extremely uncanny.

crystal-it cant be dust, dust appears in an orb like appearence and on video it looks lik snow falling. It can be a bug either because its a mist thats impossible. i think its something paranormal . no offence crystal just saying.
Thanks for sharing those pics Colin! I don’t know what it is as i’m no photo analysis expert, even though i used to do photography for a living at one time. Taking the shots was all i was interested in and if they came out ok. Have you had any experts look at these?
On the lighter side, you looked like you were having a good time and the spook wanted to join in…don’t blame it, lol
If it would be fog dont you think it would be more then just that piece of picture.I think its cool.The other pic looks kind of a figure of an alien.Thats the only thing I can make out of it.The first pic if it would be a mist it would be covered,not just that little bit.I think its something more.Thanks for the story just to bad you dont have more to show.
it looks like something is materializing beside you!!! if it was fog or mist it would be more wide spread.

wow that is freaky i had the exact same thing happen to my friend when she went on holiday to cornwall only she had actual objects move i wish i could have been there. my friend thinks it was just her finger or something in front of the camera but i have been trying to persuade her otherwise. thanks to this i can prove to her it was real.

Um, the Auckland photo is probably hair, or something of the sort, as things like these often are mistaken in photographs.
The other photo, however, I can’t make sense of. I’m guessing it is a ghost, but I could be mistaken. Thanks for sharing the photos!

looks like either over exposed film or a ghost. if it isn’t over exposed its a ghost. they come from another dimension. they cross over to ours. that is what you are seeing in the film. must be a haunted place do some research on the location. looks like a big orb or ghost. I have seen orbs but not ghosts. I have heard ghosts. did you hear anything when you had these pictures taken. put on a cross, the spirit could be traveling with you or following you. you had this occur on two pictures. wear crosses.

well first of all the first photo if you look above the mist youll se 2 red eyes and for the 2nd photo if you look around youll se a few orbs shesh
matthew – The “2 red eyes” are lights and you can see them reflecting in the water
Could it be ectoplasm? That sometimes shows up like mist. Or an orb(Glowing balls of light said to be spirits)
yous musted realise ghost are not fog or dust its an image of its own liking and demons create them selfs caused from bad energys the grow bigger and bigger

the bottom one looks like sombodys fingers got in the waybut not too sure bout the top one though.
ghost have seemer ways of whating to be seen . as i say good and evil . I am a person that belives .the thing like this I seein pictures of old time .

I think its most likely a ghost or spirit but could it be light reflecting off the water and back into the camera lens?
