Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This was when I was eight. I can clearly remember each and every detail. Ok, so I was very, very thirsty, and I went to bed each night with a glass of water. I got up to get a drink (the cup was on my dresser.) When I got there, I took a sip, and then set it down. I looked in the mirror for a few seconds. Suddenly, a blue orb automatically floated next to my head. I looked next to my head, and nothing was there. Then, I looked back in the mirror, and it was still there. The orb slowly slimmed out, and got longer. I studied it, very interested in paranormal things, and then figured it out.

It was clearly a human body, completed with the legs, arms, head, hands, feet, and body. No facial features were present at the time. Then, they started to form. First the nose, then the mouth, clothes, ears, hair, eyes, and last the freckles. It looked in the mirror as well, and then I quickly noticed.

It had taken form of my best friend. The next thing I know, was she looked back at me, and quickly said “Hello Mystic.”, then faded away. Needless to say, I was terrified. The figure had taken me to a stage not to talk. So, I hadn’t screamed. But, it scared the day lights out of me. The next day, I asked my friend if she got up at the time (she was staying the night) and she said no.

That night, I stayed up waiting for the orb to appear again, but I never saw it since. But that was only the first time I encountered a paranormal activity.

The second time was two nights later. I was laying down in my bed, supposed to be asleep. It was all perfectly normal, until I felt people jumping at the end of my bed. I sat up to see if my little brother had waken up, but he hadn’t. I looked at the spot they were jumping, and every two seconds, a small dent appeared every two or three seconds. It seemed as if a four or five year old child was jumping on my bed. Thinking it was completely nice, I got up and jumped myself.

The third time occurred a few years before. My older brother was giving me a piggy-back ride throughout the house. He was very hungry, so he went into the kitchen. My dad was standing about three feet away from the stove/oven, my mom was in the living room counting her money, and me and my brother were on the side of the kitchen. The conversation went something like this:

Brother: Dad, is dinner done yet?
Dad: It’s getting there.
Brother: Ok.
Mom: Jonathan watch out!

My brother ducked, because a pan with boiling hot water was flying towards me and my brother. My dad didn’t throw it, my mom didn’t throw it, and the pan was just on its own, flying through the air. And that was the last time I encountered anything paranormal, that I know of.
