So my story begins with me looking after my Uncles house here in Johannesburg as he went away for a week.
The house is very old, could of even been built early 20′s -30′s very old ceilings and floor boards. and the neighborhood is also a very old Jewish one too.
Anyway, I am lying on the couch watching the tube when I hear a noise outside that startles me and the dogs. It was a hot summer night with little or no breeze at all so I was on the couch in my briefs or Boxer shorts when this noise happened. The sliding glass doors were to the right of me to exit out into the garden and they were open as to get the breeze in. Myself and the dogs went directly to where we thought the noise came from. This was around the back from where I was but it actually is the front of the house. Further investigation showed there to be nothing, so a bit confused and edgy I walk around to the doors and ALAS! they are closed with the latch locked on the inside. The dogs are ears and tails up and are staring through the glass and growling, the bigger of the 2 even getting rather upset and yelping!
I try to get this open and cant, now I am locked out standing in boxer shorts barefoot with these high walls all around me. I call out to the neighbors but nothing, I cant get traction with barefeet to climb anything so I was pretty much not going anywhere. Thoughts of smashing windows and doors were slowly creeping into my mind but thoughts of having to pay for them swayed me not to.
The dogs by now are just staring at the couch and growling, but I see nothing. I go around to where the noise originally come from and started to shout for other neighbors… sweet nothing from no-one. I walked around to the glass door again and still locked with my phone ringing off the hook, but also a totally different ring tone to the one I have on. I found a half smoked cigarette next to the BBQ and a box of matches, lit up and then “CLICK SLIDE AND DOOF” the sliding door was unlocked and open just a little… the dogs running around the house barking mad!
I obviously got butterflies in my stomach but I didn’t feel threatened. I even joked that it thought it was being funny by doing this and had a chuckle. My uncle says his clothes have been placed under the bed and behind the curtains, especially when he is in the shower. I wonder if we have a naughty woman on our hands.
Thanks for reading this guys, Happy Hauntings!

interesting to say the least. sounds like you have a trickster around your house somewhere!
I agree with Trolldoll.
You can be so lucky that it’s not dangerous. Atleast some one is keeping you on your toes. Gr8 story though
