Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I remember having paranormal experiences as a child but my mom has seemed to have been drawn to houses with ghost and other strange happenings going on. Let me begin when I was about 11 or near the age of 12.

We moved into an old house outside of Pageland, South Carolina. It was a cute and comfortable little house but there was a couple of things wrong there. A woman had died in the back bedroom of the house where my sister slept and a man was brutally shot to death in the kitchen. His guts were blown out by a 12 guage shotgun. There was a party with drinking and it got outta hand. That’s what heard anyways, but when we moved in there I felt something right off hand like something wasn’t right there.

When my mom went to clean the kitchen we all noticed a stain on the cabinets. It was very dark red in color. My mom figured it was blood right off hand so she cleaned it but it wouldn’t come off so she painted over it numerous times but it would never go away. It was freaky to go in there alone, it was like someone was staring right in your face.

Freaky, that was a feeling you got in that house. The dishes would move, the fridge would open and shut, it was scary. I will never forget right after my birthday, I turned 12, I was lying in bed asleep one night when something bumped hard into my bed and shook the whole bed. I laid there a minute figuring it was my dog but he was outside. I felt a really cold, very cold, chill and sat up in bed and I had to come to reality that there was a ghost at the foot of my bed. It looked distorted and angry and I’m not sure but I think it growled at me. All I could feel was hate, anger and despair from this thing it scared me and I slept with my light on until we moved out. It still gives me the creeps and heebie-jeebies.

My sister refused to sleep in her room a week after that happened to me. She said an old mean woman was pulling her covers off of her and looking her in the face. She would really be crying about it their were weird things going on there. I was so glad to leave there but still think about that night and I will never forget it either. I’m getting creeped out I need to stop writing now that’s how bad that house messed with me sorry I cant finish will try later.
